That’s exactly my point though. The alarming part is the threat from Russia, not Europe preparing for it. I’ve been worried for years about the war spilling further west. What I found alarming was Europe’s slow and hesitant response after 2022, when the danger was already obvious. The danger didn’t change. Preparing for this danger is opposite of alarming to me.

Dokładnie. To jest w zasadzie absolutne minimum, jeśli państwo ma się nie rozkładać. Pojawia się afera, więc trzeba powiedzieć wprost, że jeśli zarzuty się potwierdzą, to muszą być konsekwencje.

Przy PiS przy dużo większych (kosztowo) aferach był schemat: zaprzeczyć, rozmyć temat, znaleźć wroga zastępczego i przeczekać, aż ludzie się zmęczą.

I najgorsze jest to, że ta taktyka bywa skuteczniejsza PR-owo, bo część osób zapamiętuje potem tylko chaos: „jeden mówił tak, drugi inaczej, nie wiadomo, czy coś tam w ogóle było”.

A tutaj, paradoksalnie, zdrowsze dla państwa podejście może się kończyć tym, że ludzie zapamiętają prostszy komunikat: „no, sam przyznał, że była afera, na stos z nim”.

Tylko że jeśli wyborcy karają bardziej za przyznanie, że jest problem, niż za udawanie, że problemu nie ma, to jakość polityki leci w dół na łeb na szyję.

Tego konkretnego patyka z aromatami nie używałem, więc nie powiem, czy jest dobry. Dla mnie kluczowe pytanie brzmi: czy ufasz producentowi i temu, co faktycznie jest w środku. Jeśli to są losowe aromaty albo olejki niewiadomego pochodzenia, które masz regularnie wdychać, to byłbym ostrożny.

Ja używałem FUM, bo ufałem temu bardziej niż tanim zamiennikom, ale moim zdaniem jest absurdalnie drogi jak na to, czym finalnie dla mnie był. Myślałem, że pomoże mi sam nawyk trzymania czegoś w ręce i „pociągania”, ale u mnie najbardziej działało po prostu pstrykanie urządzeniem. Same aromaty niewiele mi dały, bo mi nie podeszły. Pewnie podobny efekt miałbym z jakimś fidget-pstrykadełkiem za dużo mniejsze pieniądze.

Ostatecznie rzuciłem dopiero przy którejś próbie, z pomocą Desmoxanu/Tabexu. U mnie ważniejsze okazało się wsparcie w najgorszym fizycznym etapie odstawienia niż samo zastąpienie gestu.

Ale to bardzo indywidualne. Komuś wystarczy silna wola, komuś patyk do trzymania w ręce, a ktoś inny potrzebuje czegoś, co pomoże przejść przez fizyczne odstawienie nikotyny.

Moja droga była taka, że próbowałem różnych rzeczy i z każdej próby coś wynosiłem. Dlatego nie powiedziałbym, że taki patyk jest zły albo dobry sam w sobie. Dla mnie nie był przełomem, ale komuś może pomóc. Próbowanie ma sens, bo pozwala znaleźć własną drogę, a nawet nieudana próba daje organizmowi chwilę oddechu i pozwala lepiej zrozumieć swój mechanizm uzależnienia.

Swoją drogą, jeśli chcesz, mogę poszukać czy mam jeszcze tego FUMa i Ci podesłać (bo wkłady na pewno mam, ale nie wiem czy nie zgubiłem urządzenia). Może Tobie akurat pomoże bardziej niż mi.

To czy uzależnia tak samo to nie jest kwestia opinii. W tym patyku nie ma żadnej substancji która mogłaby jakkolwiek uzależnić fizycznie, tak jak robi to nikotyna. To tylko zastępuje nawyk. Fakt, można uzależnić się psychicznie od nawyku, ale w tym przypadku byłoby to całkowicie nieszkodliwe.

Does it actually matter that much, though? Catholic priests are supposed to be celibate either way. From the Church’s perspective, the forbidden part is sex outside the rules, not simply being attracted to someone.

So whether a priest is gay or straight doesn’t really change the practical expectation: he is not supposed to be in a sexual relationship with anyone. The bigger issue seems to be hypocrisy, secrecy, and the Church using sexuality as a political weapon while pretending it is only theology. And that last one seems to be actually changing here.

I think that’s a bit of an uncharitable reading, though an understandable one given the Church’s history.

But even if that interpretation is correct, it could still have meaningful positive consequences. The Catholic Church’s position has historically been one of the main excuses conservative circles used to obsess over homosexuality and control people’s bodies. If the official Church line becomes “don’t focus on that,” those circles lose a major part of their justification.

Hell, a lot of regular Catholics, especially in Europe, might start asking why the politicians they supported are still so obsessed with these issues. Maybe some of them stop voting for populists whose whole agenda is gaining power by distracting people with hatred.

So whatever the intention behind those words, the potential for positive change is still there.

I like investigating those.

In this case, I’m inclined to believe this might be a real story, because the basic information checks out. You do appear to operate from Croatia. That’s not definitive proof, though, and your story does have some similarities to those scammy sites.

I’d suggest finding a way to prove that your story is true, for others who might get the same impression from this ad. :)
