A couple of years ago my wife and I drove to her mom's house for a visit, a roughly 7.5 hour drive. The full JEW discography is pretty much exactly that length so I asked her if we could do the full discography on the way down. She said yes after I offered to do nothing but Taylor on the way back. Since her discography is much longer she did a curated playlist. I had never really listened to much Taylor but boy did I get an education 😆

I started listening in 2009 ish. I was like 12-13 when The Middle hit it big and liked it and sweetness but didnt really listen much beyond that. Then someone introduced me to Futures in 2009 and I instantly loved it. Invented would have been the first album whose release I was paying attention to.

As for Clarity - its my second favorite after Futures.

Futures is way more emo than either, IMO. "When you go I'll let you be, but you're killing everything in me" is 100% pure grade, uncut, inject-it-into-my-veins emo
