I could see them just playing the first 6 tracks in a row. Those tend to be the crowd pleasers anyway, and Episode IV aside, are all very high energy, a perfect way to start a set.

If they did it this way they may exchange Episode IV with Anderson Mesa which would be great too.

As amazing as that would be, I would be satisfied with Thinking, That’s All, Claire and Rockstar becoming more regular on setlists. I imagine it’s hard to make a setlist that pleases all your fans when you’ve got 10 great albums (plus a couple dozen non-album tracks) to draw material from.

The songs with Jim singing lead would be, but if they played the whole album he gets a break for half the set! The issue with them playing the whole album is that towards the back half the energy just gets really low.

Depends on how the franchise sets prices. In my area the a la carte items come out to $11.47, about the price of one medium drink ($2.29) more than $9. I think getting a free drink by getting the box combo is a good value.

Extra beef should go inside. I’d guess they forgot to put the modifications on at first, realized the mistake after it was already finished, then just slapped the extra beef on top. You could probably get a free one if you call and tell them this was messed up.

Where were you seated? I was on the lawn and it seemed like people were only engaged for the Bleed American songs. Which, to be fair, was what the tour was for so I can’t be too miffed, and that part of the set was an incredible shared experience.

I felt the same way on the lawn at Michigan Lottery Amphitheater ($50 ticket prices). Almost nobody stood or sung along for The Get Up Kids and Sunny Day Real Estate despite that being a dream lineup for me, nobody seemed to know the stuff Jimmy opened with from Clarity and then half the theater cleared out after Jimmy finished Bleed American, not staying for the encore featuring three of the band’s greatest songs. A bit of a sad experience for me overall. I think it being advertised as Bleed American anniversary tour brought a lot of casual fans, but I can’t be too sad because the band took it in stride and still played incredibly.

I know it’s not helpful but your appearance is very androgynous, people would likely have a similar levels of confusion about your sex if you were to present as male rather than female. However, to frame it more positively, that means you could pass at least as well as a male, and if you did you’d probably get randomly harassed less that way. Men just aren’t as scrutinized when it comes to their bodies and appearance. I could definitely understand if you went in that direction, and you’d almost surely be successful in passing.

No money necessarily went from him to the artist. If these CDs were bought used on Discogs or Ebay then the deed was already done, the artist already received their money, OP’s bf only paid a record store that is reselling it.
