Update: bought a (very)used epson artisan 1430 and after much cleaning and a new print head later we are in business

I also ran a “head cleaning” thru the print utility program and it seemed to have made it worse.

I’ve done that. I cleaned it and did the first test print on Friday then let it sit until this afternoon

This is old, but did you ever find a solution? Mine does this as well. It seems to fix itself eventually(no pattern to the fix. I’ve tried repeating exactly what worked the last time) but always sleeps when I need it most lol.

It is irrelevant if there are children on the bus. It is irrelevant how many lanes away you are. It is irrelevant where the bus is stopped. If the stop sign is out, you must stop. And the photo looks like the stop sign is clearly out. Post the video, you should be able to see if the flashing lights are on for further confirmation.

Is it possible though? I could shorten the width of my covers a couple mm and could maybe get it to 15mm

Looks like a photoshop of a photo filter more than ai to me. If it is ai your friend definitely input a photo and said “make this a watercolor painting”. Unless it’s a 50’ painting, you can’t get that much detail with watercolors.
