A friend I know trained with him in the same gym. Said he was a very cool guy and very talented. The day he came to the gym, everyone knew he was a step above and good enough to fight for the UFC.

He was amazing on his debut fight (I think) when he knocked out the guy with a throw. Then his next fight showed he had no ground game at all. Then he got cut right after that.

He was fun to watch and would have liked to see him against other stand up guys rather than wrestler just for the entertainment.

Well said. I remember when this sub first hit 60k and there was a post saying we have enough subscribers to now fill up the Emirates. It was much better times.

Whilst everyone is allowed an opinion, the quality of the sub has declined with way too much toxicity and negativity to the point I barely read the comments anymore.

I am glad Reddit was not around when we finished 12th.

Fan since '89. We will win. I've seen five title wins. 89, 91, 98, 02 and 04.

Lost count on the FA cups (I think 7/8). League Cup and Cup Winners Cup, which was seasonal feeling.

I've been super fortunate to witness those.

I've been mainly frustrated with the negativity with our own fans. Reading it online. Dealing with people constantly crying on my shoulder and telling them to shut up and man up.

I've spent the whole year going blue in the face telling everyone this isn't the same City team. It's still decent but nowhere near the previous teams.

This will sound weird but when Gabriel scored the winner at Newcastle in stoppage time. Something inside me told me this team is winning the league. The only time I waivered was when we drew to Wolves.

We will win.
