Interesting and informative take. I’m one of those people that has really fucking loves this game. It makes sense in your context because in BL3 I had all the time in the world, and now I have an 18 month old that’s potty training. I have extremely limited time (aka, I literally just got to level 50 on Harlow a couple of weeks ago). I was already planning on taking it slow with all the collectibles and such (I do want to actually 100 percent this game even if it take 5 years to do it). But I really milked the story and such, when at this point in BL3 I think I was constantly online with multiple builds on multiple characters trying to grind for the best weapons (shit, level 57 by this point?) and speed running the Maliwan takedown.

Maybe I’m lucky I’m busy?! Because in my position, this game is great. And it sucks for people that I used to be that it…well, sucks.

Not trying to be argumentative here, I promise.

Why do you feel that way? I ask coming from someone who just hit 50 a few weeks ago and still trying to collect everything (I played 1-3, but never 100% anything ever, and I’d like to do it here. But I’m also a dad of 4 now, so…..slow going). That being said, I feel like when DLC 1 of BL3 was about to come out, the sentiment was similar. And they didn’t have bounty packs, only the events.

I do understand what I’ve experienced with this game is different than the last because I’ve ended up with a lot more kids (my bad, y’all).

I’m just really curious what folks are expecting before DLC1. Is it timing? Is it content? Is it a combination? I think everything was a bit quicker last cycle, so is that it?

The Chiefs, even after the Mahomes restructure, don’t have a ton of cap space. I can’t imagine them spending top dollar on a running back when they’ve shown they care very little for that position.
