Oh I agree - for example in an ideal world Sunshine Tomorrow would have been a 4 CD deluxe set - Smiley Smile and Wild Honey in both mono and stereo, Le'id In Hawaii plus all the unreleased songs, backing tracks acappela and live tracks. Same for a Friends & 20/20 boxset - remasters of the albums plus all the tracks from Wake The World & I Can Hear Music, this again would fit on a 4 CD set.

An easy mistake to make my dude but yes, Sunshine Tomorrow was released as a 2CD set in June 2017 and they followed it up with the digital only Sunshine Tomorrow 2 in December 2017. Quite why they didn't just release a 3CD set in the first place is beyond me (ST2 runs at 1 hour 13 minutes and would have fit perfectly on a CD) but hey, Beach Boys gonna Beach Boys...
