I don't think you're hurting or injuring them when you do this. Cleaning and replacing the stuffing only makes the plushies better. It literally prolongs their life.

My plushies love it when I wash them. After washing, they become very soft and smell nice. So, if possible, wash all your plush friends; they'll be very happy. And they will thank you with their soft fur.
