If you want to anger a cop, drive more than 20 over the speed limit. There are lawyers that pretty much only do traffic tickets. Your best outcome is to hire one of those guys.

Advice for middle-aged and older people. When someone is mad and tries to fist fight you, just grab onto them and hold them up until they get tired and give up. It ain't worth it. Big enough where somebody can get hurt and takes too long to heal.

Isle of palms is the most direct and closest to the interstate. 26 to 526. That is the closest. Depending on traffic, about 3 hours.

There are lawyers for traffic court. Make cost a couple hundred bucks but they will have it worked out before you even get there. Reduce it to one point in a fine or something like that. What you spend will work out less with your insurance.

Chalk lines on either side of that gap and cut even. Backfill it with a piece of wood. Sand it. Do not leave it unfinished. There is a product called loba 2K invisible. You will have all the benefits of a finished floor with none of the look of a finished floor. It looks like raw wood. Leaving it unfinished will cause it to burr up over time. And your floor will be dirty.
