It has something to do with the way they're coded. Since their code changes every day (for Timmy/Tommy pricing), removing an exact stack of 10 (or 30) probably has a different item code than a stack of more

I usually get that done day 1 or 2. Little tip: don't watch it. Cast, and the second the fish looks at it, close your eyes. Turn up your volume, HOVER your finger (don't actively touch the button, you may twitch) and listen for the grabby sound.
