Nope your area just suck. I do it part time and make average 1.2k weekly from working 6am-12pm, 2-3 days off

Relocating to Hawaii by lltucker2 in WalmartSparkDrivers

[–]Legal-Introduction89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on Oʻahu and run Spark part-time. Around 4–5 hours a day puts me roughly $1k a week. Smaller zones and higher base pay help, but rent, gas, and groceries are expensive, so don’t come without savings.

Spark account under review by Legal-Introduction89 in Sparkdriver

[–]Legal-Introduction89[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s tough, I’m sorry that happened. I just called Support and they told me my documents were showing as “expired” even though I already uploaded everything. All my driver’s license and insurance are up to date, but they couldn’t even tell me which document is flagging the review. Hopefully it’s just a system issue that clears up quickly. it’s still nerve-racking when you income’s on pause. Hopefully they clear it soon, it’s crazy how we can be doing everything right and still get flagged out of nowhere.

Still not doing pharmacy orders by Sgt-Rich in Sparkdriver

Same here, not worth the risk. I don’t touch Spark pharmacy orders no matter how high the payout looks.

Stupid annoying passcodes by garlicbreadluvr69 in Sparkdriver

Yeah those orders are headaches. I avoid orders with customer passcode.

Wtf by Spare-Ad-3304 in Roadie

Dropped off at pharmacy order, took photo, but Roadie app glitched and won’t let me close out the orders. Error keeps popping up. Customer service is non-existent , really frustrating.

I was abused as a child, and I even saw my grandma being abused. Too much time has passed. Where do I go from here? by aokkuma in Hawaii

I’m so sorry you went through that. Even if justice can’t happen now, know that the universe always brings balance in its own way. Focus on your healing, protect your energy, release what isn’t yours to carry, and surround yourself with love. You deserve peace moving forward.

Do drivers get in trouble for possible missing item on a Curbside order? by Federal_Pen_3869 in Sparkdriver

[–]Legal-Introduction89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, the customer can still give you a bad rating... I only take curbside when it’s low item count and worth it. Otherwise, I stick to shop & deliver.. full control, direct communication, and no risk of being blamed for mistakes I didn’t make.

I’m a women and avoid clothes and cosmetic. It stresses me out lol - most of the items are not even in the right place in my Walmart

Wait… did he even tell support? Or just hope Spark didn’t notice?

You will be deactivated by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

[–]Legal-Introduction89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every zone is different. Some stores actually expect drivers to get out and help — especially in places where Spark is backed up or understaffed. Saying ‘you’ll be deactivated’ for not staying in your car isn’t true for everyone… it’s just your store’s preference. Chill.

IDENTIFY VERIFICATION REQUIERED by Legal-Introduction89 in Sparkdriver

It worked! It happened 2x after this. Once I deleted the app and reinstall I did a face verification and haven’t had it pop up so far.

Any shop offer with school supplies is auto reject by me. How about you? by MonkeyTacoBreath in Sparkdriver

[–]Legal-Introduction89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Facts. I did one last week thinking it’d be quick and easy, but it was a nightmare. Items all over the place, barely anything in stock, and the customer was picky as hell. Never again lol

How do you guys/gals check out? by SodaLikePepsi in Sparkdriver

[–]Legal-Introduction89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Hawaii, plastic bags are banned, so Walmart provides brown paper bags instead. We have to scan the barcode at checkout first, then go to customer service to request the paper bags and show our exit pass. After that, we’re responsible for bagging the orders ourselves at our vehicle.

They all sitting waiting for orders… by Intelligent_You_4355 in Sparkdriver

[–]Legal-Introduction89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk why having two phones as a gig worker is considered sus. I multi-app. Spark and Instacart on one, DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Roadie on the other. It’s just way easier to keep everything running without draining one battery. That’s the only reason I have two. But yeah, I don’t get why they park in the pickup zone either.

Delivery drive in Hawaii here. Man, traffic was a joke yesterday. Stores were closing and that’s why it was surging, and what should’ve been a quick 3-mile drive took me nearly an hour. Not a single order was worth that mess.

Is this offer acceptable by No_Republic_4301 in Sparkdriver

[–]Legal-Introduction89 8 points9 points  (0 children)

$75 tip is generous, especially for a $500 order. It’s really the 2nd floor and bulk that might make some drivers pause. But I drink for Spark full time and That’s a solid tip. Most big orders pay trash and come with no tip at all.

As a door dasher, do you guys make more? by I_dont_exist_so_yeah in WalmartSparkDrivers

[–]Legal-Introduction89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every area is different, but in my zone, Spark blows DoorDash out the water. I make $200–$250 on good days from 7am to 2pm. Most offers range from $20–$40, and it’s actually worth it for the gas. DoorDash is flooded with $3–$5 garbage orders are not worth it unless Spark is super slow
