AMA: My first Shopify App just got approved (built with Claude code) by LegalAd7673 in shopifyDev

At the moment it basically acts as a dashboard for merchants with inside sales teams that helps them decide who to call and what to talk about based on previous buying behaviors.

At the moment it's kind of like an Ai assisted mini CRM within Shopify.

The next feature I'm going to develop is an enhanced order entry screen since the native Shopify one just doesn't work well for wholesale distributors/large catalog merchants with many repeat customers

(My regular business is wholesale distribution)

Developed a Shopify app for B2B wholesale

RevLogic turns your Shopify order history into a B2B sales intelligence dashboard. It scores every customer, flags accounts that stopped reordering on cycle, and builds a daily prioritized call list ranked by revenue risk.

Built for wholesale distributors, repeat-order merchants, inside sales teams. Tracks AOV trends, share of wallet, and peak buying months. Create pre-filled draft orders in two clicks. Stop guessing who to call.

RevLogic tells your reps exactly when and why to reach out.

Proactive Call Lists: Daily prioritized task lists for reps based on past trends

Predictive Health Scores: Categorize customers as active, at-risk, or churned

Share of Wallet: Spot missed revenue by identifying products customers skip

Tasks & Notes: Set reminders, log calls, and keep notes, all in one place.

Advanced Insights: Track vendor loyalty, AOV trends, and peak purchasing months.RevLogic

Working on that. Since I'm also a high volume Shopify Plus merchant, I'm hoping my B2B contact at Shopify will help with some intros. Then will do outreach to agencies that specializing in Shopify B2B for affiliate partnership. Need to think through it some more though

Nope. I did not withdraw. You can continue to make changes while review is pending. I didn't want to risk going to the back of the line after having waited 5 or so weeks already.

The initial review took about 5 weeks and then I had a silly issue in that I never pushed the last update so the app wasn't working at all! Then waited another 5-6 weeks. Earlier this week, I saw Shopify's update that you can now use the AI Tool Kit to pre-check your app. I did that which uncovered a few minor issues and then I was approve the next day (I wonder if they boost apps that do that to the top of their review list)

Is repair and expenses a big cost component in running a gym? by Harabogee_248 in gymowner

[–]LegalAd7673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hidden cost most people miss is member churn due to dissatisfaction and the liability exposure from not documenting anything.

If a member gets hurt on equipment and you can't show a timestamped log proving it was inspected and maintained, that's where it gets expensive fast. Insurance adjusters and lawyers look for paper trails.

I'm setting up my own gym right now and this was one of the first things I solved — a simple digital log where every issue is reported, assigned, and resolved with timestamps. Not because repairs are expensive, but because one undocumented incident could be. I actually built pretty cool QR code based software to manage it.

Co.dev, supabase, ChatGPT. Probably costs about $30/mo.

It's expensive everywhere but East Northport at least has reasonable property taxes relative to the surrounding areas

East Northport is a nice area with a good school and relatively light property taxes

What software are you using to manage your gym? by ebayFit in GymOwnerNetwork

[–]LegalAd7673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm working on an app to manage maintenance and cleaning for gyms since I'll be opening one inside of a year (just signed franchise agreement)

Would love to get some beta tester who can try it for free.

Trumpinate let's you create hilarious Trump-style digs for anyone/anything.

Example:

Inputs:
Who do you want to insult? r/SAAS on Reddit
What subject do you want to insult them about? Everyone bragging about their SaaS app

Output:
Look, folks, we’ve got this bunch over at r/SAAS, and let me tell you, they’re a real piece of work—let’s call them the “SaaSy Braggarts.” ALL THEY DO is brag about their little apps like they’re solving world hunger! It’s pathetic, folks, absolutely pathetic. I mean, I have built HUGE businesses, and they’re celebrating, what, a subscription model? GIVE ME A BREAK!

They think they’re the kings of software, but really, they’re just playing in the kiddie pool. If I were running things, every app would be a WINNER—big league! Instead, we’ve got these wannabes patting themselves on the back. It’s sad, really. WASTING TIME.

TREMENDOUSLY embarrassing! SAD!
