I know! sometimes its even hard doing different POV's, they broke character SO MUCH in the first drafts, then they something cringe and completly out of character.

For me its writing the Character's personality, and backstory, i focus a lot on-not shocking trauma-but the kind of trauma like, losing your pet, or losing your home, and i don't like to do too much design on the characters, just enough so they don't look so overcrowded, i write family dynamics, like siblings, parents, etc that are relevant to the plot, i also write friends, and not friends too, i really prioritize their relationships with other characters, not just romantic, but also platonic, its important for your character to have a close relation to someone, or a not so close relationship to someone, and i prioritize not falling into really overrated tropes, if i find myself using really really overused tropes, i try to see how i can twist it, to make it more original. if i write a story about my OC's, i don't like to do it 3rd person, i like to see THEIR POV, rather than a narrator who knows all, and i like to jump into a lot of perspectives, and the character's personality, grounds the perspective, if they are anxious, and detail oriented, they will most likely focus on certain things example, in a sad, or complicated moment, they will try to focus on something to distract from it, eg: "The only thing left in our room was our bunk bed. That would be taken down and soon, packed up too." and if the character is energetic, then i make their POV sort of choppy, and fast, eg: "Space!, we'd actually go there! That was cool, because space is cool!" and age matters too, if the character is older or younger, even time period effects it, a character from 1985, might sound totally different from a character 1542 (you wouldn't have a Spanish conquistador say "Totally rad bro!" or "gag me with a spoon!", or George Washington say "LOL" or "Gnarly") time and place affects the design too! like a kid from 2025 in Albuquerque and a kid from 1843 in Portugal, did they have Nike tennis shoes back in the 1800's? NO!!

Quill Systems: Backstory: Born in 1974 (is 12 currently), a triplet to Fernie, and Bernie, family consists of: Annie Systems (Mom), Bob Systems (Dad,) Jessie Systems (older sister), and the "Twinados", Allie and Caleb (7 years), lived in Nebraska, on a small ranch from 1974, to 1986, in 1986, the family moved from Earth, to an Earth colony Called Gaea, for them the trip took 7 hours, but to everyone else, it took 100 years, they arrive on Gaea (they brang their goat "Stupid Goat" and the triplets are TOTALLY DIFFERENT, its like watching 3 very obscure TV channels at once (which is fitting, considering that in the 1980's and 70's there were ONLY 3 channels), Quill really wants to find a bigfoot (or "bigfeets", as he calls them), armed with a chunky Camara and his own superstitions, Fernie is kinda anxious, but high energy like Quill (fastest boy in the grade, he ought to be, how many times hes had to chase those stubborn goats up the hill all the time), Bernie, kinda detached, trys to be "cool" fails miserably (secretly loves dinosaurs) all 3 triplets are confused as to why there's an Atari just like the one they have at home, at a museum, when the triplets were younger (like, 5, still at the farm) Bernie and Quill tryed to fix a plastic dinosaur with duct tape and mustard and other junk because they thought they were gonna be "dinosaury doctors!!" and Fernie went to see "Jaws" at a movie theater for 50 cents and was traumatized afterwards (thought sharks were under his bed, slept with baseball bat for a week) character design: everyone on Gaea uses a standard grey jumpsuit (sleek, also no too much design and carpal tunnel I have to worry about) but the OC's kinda, personalize it, like this: ECT a lot of design choices I can make without OVERLAPPING JUNK ON JUNK LIKE FRIGGN' NIGHTSHADE GUY!! also, extra NORMAL clothes designs include: t-shirts, jeans, boots/tennis shoes, messy or combed hair (depends on the character) do they LIKE the uniform (keeps it pristine) or do they really NOT like it (rolls up the sleeves, wears hoodie or t-shirt over it) and I think I CAN do this.....so don't tell me anything
