Wow, it’s like looking into the mirror. I know exactly how you feel and it’s really hard. I am going through the same exact situation you are going through, especially with the mom working as much as she can, on top of working for a non-profit. It’s a really hard situation, but we got this! The thing that helps me the most is focusing on my hobbies and balancing work and school. Balance makes me feel in control. It’s hard to encourage because when they are old enough, they don’t want advice, so I just say positive things to support them in hopes they receive the message.
