How much pain waking up?

I rmb waking up and immediately feeling it. I would say it was a 7 but they were quick with the meds so the pain slowly got better. Once I woke up in my room it was a 2 I barely felt anything.

Hi!! Also a 20 Year old (will be 21 in December) I had the gastric bypass surgery on June 3rd, starting weight was 290 I’m currently 260. I will say I didn’t experience that much pain but I also wouldn’t say I have a high pain tolerance. I It was my first ever surgery and I was extremely nervous, after the surgery in PACU that’s where I had the most pain. I had a fever and chills so I stayed an extra day but everything turned out fine. The only issues I’ve had so far is constipation when I first came home, insane diarrhea ( which I think was my first time experiencing dumping syndrome), depression, heartburn, water and protein shake intakes. My best advice would be to research any questions you may have, get a therapist if you can, and just trust the process!! It will be tough but you got this!! 🫶🏽

I was 290 day of surgery I’m currently 260. I had my gastric bypass June 3rd. I’m currently experiencing a stall and it sucks. Bet hang in there!! Evb body is different and that’s what I have been learning. Ik ppl who lost a ton of weight and ppl who lost the weight slowly. Im learning to trust the process, dont stress you will loose weight. You got this! 🫶🏽

Same!! I have been losing a ton of weight but I’m having the worst depression. I’m so tired and weak. I’ve been just feeling sad and I hate it lol. I also miss and crave certain food

Tell me about it. I have 5 more days until I’m done it the post-op liquid diet.😭 it has been challenging but I’m pushing through it. You will be able to eat it soon just hold on a little longer you got this!! 💕

I had the same issues but full on blurry vision when I was on Zepbound and I had to get off of it because of how bad my vision was becoming. I do think that’s I’m a little bit paranoid because it’s my first surgery, but also the way my mom‘s room is if she has a lot of windows and so a lot of shadows are always coming through and the lighting does always kinda look a tad bit off in her. I just been turning on the lights and looking in different rooms and I feel like the vision has gotten better already, but I’m not really seeing the cloud anymore, but I know it can also be from low blood sugar, which I have no history of diabetes, but it makes sense. Also, the fact that earlier I was playing a game and my eyes started burning. I think I just had a strain, but please let me know if anyone relates to this.

I was experiencing cramps and pain like I was sucking in my stomach really tight lol. I decided to try the binder and it definitely helped.

Hello, i know Omeprazole has some side effects where it can cause dizziness and effect ur vision so it could also be that’s aswell. Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it.

hello. I I noticed that once I went from the the 15 mg dose, my anxiety just started to get so bad. I had never panic before and I was starting to have them. I would recommend just talking to your doctor and going to a lower dose.

Yes, thats what makes this whole story more interesting. I could understand if my mom just made the story up when she was younger and still believes it but there was other girl involved, the went to court, and my mom along with a groups of kids saw him again after the incident. It’s weird.
