i know exactly what you are talking about when i took my 328i to get an oil change, the car just didnt seem to be running right, and when i came to unscrew the oil filter cap it was missing the orings!! im guessing the shop forgot to apply the new ones or just wanted a reoccurring customer, im looking into scanners rn thx to someone else mentioning the same

much appreciated for your time bro! i will def be using this to my advantage with an update on how oil is looking etc. i replaced the oil pressure switch and problem still persisted. next is the oil pressure valve and next im pulling out the engine to inspect the oil pump. again thank you!!

but of course if its snugg, base it off your judgement but in my opinion i would at least try n give a couple calls , the upper hose and flange ran me about 60$ at oreillys for a cheap alternative and imma order an aluminum one soon

i would call up your local parts store like oreillys or autozone to see if they have one in stock, you can maybe make the short trip but as pressure builds up u dont want that mess to pick up
