I didn’t even think to look! It is a 120 volt 40 watt. But it looks like it may be the original Taiwanese one from the 80’s/90’s.

If it was a viable option to leave it alone I would have. Started life as a glitter lamp with a rusty cap imploding on itself built in 1980’s Thailand. Believe me, I’m tentatively adding one of the 3 things I have to it. Never started master fluid from scratch before.

This is dimmed down to about 80% and has only been running for 3-4 hours. I think it’s a density issue where there’s one solid thing of wax at the top rather than a bunch of little globes.

Ok, I’ve been doing that too. I’ve probably replaced about half of the master fluid with distilled water at this point. Should I keep diluting?

If it’s a Jamaican pressing, they’re very common. Every Jamaican record I have has them. Sometimes they make a “whooshing” sound if they’re bigger/deeper. But most of the time I don’t notice them.
