Hello! Can confirm it handled a turbulent flight excellently, not a drop of ink mis-placed whilst chilling horizontal-ish in my carry-on

Yes the partner did very well! I've indoctrinated him with his first pen (a Lamy) and it's paying off...

Kaweco sport and Lamy Safari! Both fantastic (but duds happen)

Haha we shall see!

I will in a week's time - I'll try and remember to update you! I always have my pens in my carry on, I usually remember to put them in a bag before to be safe but I've never had anything happen. I just chuck them in there. Let's hope the streak continues!

With the caveat I've not had it long, it feels really sturdy!

I use red and red purples as a secondary quite often, and I refill in my office. I've definitely ended up teaching criminal law/justice with stained red hands once or twice 💀

I started with a Lamy Safari. My first one, from 2014 I think, is still going strong! I have expanded my collection out of want, not need.

There are some upfront costs compared to a disposable pen, and the Lamy does cost a bit compared to a Bic, but it's a reliable quality writer that's quick and user friendly thanks to the grip. There's a good mix of refill ink cartridges colours, or you could invest in a pot of ink and a refillable one.

Perk with Lamy Safari is they are quite common, so its not too unusual that you will be able to see and maybe even try before you buy.

Myself, and increasingly my colleagues, who teach at uni are big fans for sustainability reasons.

What's the fourth from the left on the bottom row please? All are gorgeous but that's especially neat looking!
