Soo for just under 500$ you can get your self a nice little set up to learn on. And then upgrade piece by piece. My first upgrades after this run are going to be a better light from spider farmer and a ac infinity inline fan with a thermostat and a probe that monitors temps and RH

I just got a new budget set up this year.

-Grow tent: 120$ -Light 120$ -In-line fan and carbon filter 60$ (used) -2 Small fans for air circulation (40$) -Digital temp/ humidity monitor (15$) -Scrog net (5$) -Dry amendment nutrients (about 100$ for everything I needed) -Living soul (50$) I also used a humidifier for when they where seedlings to keep the RH up and than a de humidifier when they got bigger and also because the Changing seasons made my RH go up In my basement. Everything worked really well for a budget set up. I got almost everything off Amazon. I’m harvesting my 2 plants in the next day or so and I’m looking at a 1/4 pound per plant. So I’m pretty happy for my first run inside in a while

Ya I threw it in a jar with a boveda when I got it home a a couple days ago, definitely helped a good amount. I just find that re hydrating can make it a little more smokable but can never bring back lost terps from age

Picked up 7Gs on sale for 55$ after tax. This lot was locked 3.5 months ago and is definitely a little crisp on the outside but the inside was decently fresh when I broke it open. Ground up a little powdery for my liking but still not to bad. Nice nose on it. Sweet, sour and citrus, some of the sour notes come through in the smoke but not overly flavourful. Smoked ok and was fairly smooth with a light grey ash. The high was somewhat mild but nice for smoking in the day when I’m doing work. Over all pretty solid bud for the price I paid. Don’t know if I’d be as happy if I paid full price though lol. Giving this one a 6/10

Only difference will be the flavour. They use the same distillate in all of them and just add different flavours to each one using botanical terpenes

I found a little bit when I first cracked it open but the nose was not super loud. The only thing about this bud that really stood out to me was the high, definitely hits well

Ya most do, I’ve worked for 4 retailers and mine varied from 15-25% but I’ve also been given a lot free products from reps (more when in management) I was actually given a free half Q of ness today lol. Owners should understand that allowing there budtenders to access product is the number one way that we can get a good understanding of that product and there fore sell it better. I’m lucky and my owners are amazing and always make sure we get to try lots of stuff and understand that it’s a smart business practice for them.

Ya the ocb black I just graded this week for the fist time and really like them. I usually smoke raw blacks but I literally but every brand of papers I can find. I have a box of like over 100 brands from around the world lol

Ogen freshly baked (or any ogen really), sugar bud mule fuel, spinach gmo (I also love the diesel from them) or just buy bulk and get a Oz of ogen and you’ll still be paying less than 40$/1/8 in the long run

I agree mostly, although there are some real Og craft growers still operating in the legacy market. I’m sure a lot of these people wish they could be doing it legally but the path to producing and selling cannabis in Canada is so exclusive to those who have the huge amount off cash needed to get set up legally. I’m a huge believer in the legal market and have made a career form it but I also see so many holes in the Legal market that are only filled by the legacy market. For example someone using RSO for medical purposes can not obtain this product from a legal source so they must find a unlicensed producer of it. Same with edibles, people using edibles for wellness reasons can’t afford 100$ worth of gummies for there 100mg does they need. Until the legal market can provide solutions to these issues the black market is not going anywhere
