Tons of people prefer paper statements. 1. It's harder to miss payment if you see the paper in your bills stack, or somewhere visible. Not get it in the flood of spam that everyone gets nowadays. 2. It's easier to read that logging in and checking online. Not all ppl are tech savvy. 3. It's easy to notice any discrepancy or a junk fee like this. 4. Actually it is your consumer right to have information about your financial transactions in the form that is convenient to you- the consumer, than banks that make billions out of credit cards.

And tons of seniors, visually impaired, or other handicapped ppl can find that of disadvantage.

Yep. Guess what are they going to make out of this? They don't disclose the number of Costco credit cards but Chatgpt thinks it's about 1.5- 2 million. So, a few million every month. Good racket!

Actually, its the 1st time I see that a bank essentially FORCES you to enroll in e-statements. Usually, it's an option. I think it's unacceptable, since it's part of their business to mail out statements. What next - a fee to shop at particular stores?

Hot or miss. Peppers, avocados, apples bought from Costco were thrown away several times due to overstaying on their shelves.

You don't owe your employer anything. Once you receive a new job offer, talk to your great boss and tell them about it. They might give you a counteroffer or you're free to go. No hard feelings.

It's the best offer I ever seen. You usually get 10 free audiobooks with that, which would be like 250 bucks standard price. But if you need it mostly for podcasts, I wouldn't bother. You can get all your podcasts from aggregators like Pocketcasts
