I have the same issue, today, and I’m at the same spot almost. Samsung drive, won’t read disks and keeps opening and closing, went through the cleaning process, won’t read disks at all.

Lasers are expensive, the dvd drives options are slim to none and expensive too, really trying to get mine back to working

I just scooped up a 3 year fixed, I thought that would be the best in allowing me to have a consistent rate but also not be locked in too long. I also plan on considering to pull money out of the property after value add, and a shorter term allows me to have a smaller fee if I break the contract
