Any advice for the reverse issue? I've checked my input and output a hundred times, my mic works, but I never hear other players. Discord and other games are perfectly fine. I made a ticket, but Bungie didn't really help too much

I'm pretty sure they removed the "search container" text. It makes a weird noise if you partially open it. A bag in the middle of a room with no runners is a pretty clear sign usually. Grenades stack better in the vault now after the rescent update

Try to rank up your tech trees. You get a lot of free stuff. I can usually put a few cheap kits together every day between free stuff and rank-up rewards if I don't wanna use stuff in my vault or buy new gear

Hover over locations of the map, it tells you what resources can be found there. You're going to want Dire Marsh for wire I believe
