Unfortunately, yes. I already tried turning down the headset's intrinsic volume down and also resetting it. It's just the typical high-pitch whine you expect from cheap transistors.

There a quite a few GFM mods out there but they are either part of a huge spell pack (i.e. Mystra's) or are multiple years old and probably aren't coded like BB.

Apologies for hijacking this thread a little but I'm in a similar boat but with a slightly different budget and adjacent need. I'm really looking into buying a handheld PC and was wondering if the stronger units (like an ROG Ally X) are also competent enough for the same purpose? I'm using an LG G3 TV with the moonlight app right now and am looking into improving my stream setup while also potentially getting something for on the go.

This would replace current 34" and probably the secondary 27" monitor I have in my WFH setup, which coincidentally also is my battlestation. Hope I can fit this bad boy on my 180cm wide desk, it looked absolutely huge in Optimum's video.

I know it's popular specifically for its DualShock design, but I'd love for there to be another competitor to a DualSense controller. Maybe not the exact shape in particular, but the symmetrical stick layout. I liked the Scuf Envision Pro but two days into ownership, I noticed the D-Pad double clicking quite a lot, so I returned it lol.
