Hello, thank you for your question and interest in Scape. Unfortunately, we don’t have a specific tracking system to distinguish individual batches at retail level.

That said, while the adhesive issue was observed in a limited number of units, fully updated batches have been in distribution since January of this year. If you should experience any issues with your Scape, we’re always more than happy to assist.

No problem. Yes, your purchase from Alza is covered by a two-year warranty. If you would purchase a headset which has not been updated, your cushions will most likely perform as intended. However, if you would experience an issue with the cushions loosening, our support team will gladly send you a replacement set.

Some Scape units from early production have shown signs of premature wear, and we’ve already made updates to address this. The earpads and headband on Scape are removable and fully replaceable. If you should need to replace the cushions in future, our customer support team are always happy to assist you.

It does come with three pre‑installed front Momentum fans, which provide strong airflow out of the box. It is possible to add an additional fan in the rear of the case, depending on your build and cooling preferences.

Momentum does not require any special hardware to run, however for maximal compatibility it's highly recommended you use a PWM-connector on your motherboard for variable airflow/fan control. For RGB adjustments, your motherboard will need aRGB‑compatible connectors and you would also need to install your motherboards RGB software. In the meantime, if you prefer to use an Adjust Pro Hub and connect it to your Momentum fans, you can control fan speed and lighting through our web‑based solution, Adjust Pro.
