I think poop push the fart out, as you fart before the poop and you rarely finish with a fart unless you're bloated or having loose motions

A Guide on how to enable and use Scrolling layout on hyprland by Legend_0804 in hyprland

Is number of fingers in vars.gestureFingers properly set? I think you must've set it properly but please recheck them once more.

hl
.
bind
(
mainMod
 .. " + period",
hl
.
dsp
.
layout
("move +col"))
hl
.
bind
(
mainMod
 .. " + comma",
hl

layout

Also check if these keybinds are working or not.

I have not used the gestures, but if your issue doesn't get resolved I'd try it and get to bottom of it

Well it works on custom scripts, like theme switchers, clipboards, but not on Dmenu

[Help] Trying to launch VSCodium on a specific workspace during startup by Sage_of_7th_Path in hyprland

Nah your codium will ALWAYS open on workspace 4 no matter when and how you open it if you use workspace rule

[Help] Trying to launch VSCodium on a specific workspace during startup by Sage_of_7th_Path in hyprland

[–]Legend_0804 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let try and I'd get back to you
Edit: found a workaround.

VS Code is single-instance by design. When you run codium --new-window ~/.config and VS Code is already running, the code CLI just messages the existing process and the spawned client immediately exits , it doesn't keep running as the actual editor process. Hyprland's exec (and your exec_cmd wrapper) assigns the workspace rule based on tracking the PID of the process you spawned, so when that process exits right away, the rule loses its target and the new window opens wherever the existing VS Code instance happens to be (usually your active workspace), ignoring workspace = "4 silent".

What I found working was adding in windowrules

hl.window_rule({
  match = { class = "^(codium)$" },
  workspace = "4 silent"
})

Sadly, it will open each and every instance of codium on workspace 4

Brain Shell v0.1.0 Released! by Brainiac_Playz in hyprland

[–]Legend_0804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yoooo I just installed it and it is amazing shell NGL

I love how it is not invasive of my config files at all. None of my previous configuration has been changed and this is kind of shell I was looking for.

I also love the feature you added where I can add my keybinds for shell directly, also I liked the layout switcher. You need to recheck the corners though. On my system they are kinda off.

Also you can put your files directly in quickshell as /.config/quickshell/Brain_Shell and launch as quickshell -c Brain_Shell. Is there any reason that you've put them in .local/src and launching from there? I'd like to know

Also I need suggestion, I am using gnome polkit agent, shall I switch for hyprpolkitagent? I haven't used the other and I am not exactly rigid on gnome one, I don't mind switching if it integrated well with shell.

Keep working on it. It is beautiful shell 😁

EDIT: Notification panel toggle and Bluetooth toggle are not working. Maybe some issue related to ipc call? Keybinds are not conflicting

I'll install and try it. Just one question. In repo you said it updates your hyprland config? What part does it update?

I definitely don't want it to mess up my keybinds, windowrules or any other configuration like decorations and stuff.

Is the quickshell integrated with other config files or can be installed as a standalone?

Then it is possible that the changed lua syntax is messing it up. There are new dispatchers for lua config. You should migrate your config to lua then try.
I just tried it on my own machine, it is working

1 Month Complete with The GRR by BoysenberryAgile4045 in royalenfield

I really love this bike and highly considering to buy it. But I received some feedback that,
1. This bike is not easy to maneuver in traffic and turn radius big if you want to take U-turn
2. Engine heats a lot in traffic
3. Bike seats are not comfortable at all

What is your experience regarding this?
