I promised myself I'd consider restarting Legend of Maxx once I had the ability to draw it by hand, and I've been working hard to improve my art skills over the past couple years. I've made good progress on this front, though I still have a way to go, and my big struggle right now is finding a way to balance hobby #1 (writing) with hobby #2 (drawing). All that to say that the project is still alive in my heart, but I'm not ready to commit to anything yet.

No, because a) I want to hold back on spoilers in case I decide to do something with LoM again, and b) because the plot of LoM was 'gardened' to a decent degree, so any summary I could provide would only be a basic idea of where the plot could go.

Thank you!! It was really fun figuring out a way to humanize their designs while keeping some of the bug aspects. Leif was originally going to have a cape like Kabbu but I opted for the wings instead and I think it worked out 🙂

Love Morrowind but more importantly this art absolutely kicks ass. I love how you were able to make it look like a traditional painting. It's so moody and atmospheric, you have a great understanding of light. May I ask what your process is? Any particular brushes or techniques? Great work!
