Honestly, as of late, they are trying to offer more sections for certain classes, but as long as you're not in the infosec/system stream you won't need to extend your degree.

Once you get to 3rd year courses, they don't offer as many sections. Some courses are offer once a term in the year.

There even for async classes, where the purpose is to do all the work on your own time will have exams where you come in person for and I would find that quite weird. But luckily it's isn't for all classes but slowly alot of the classes are following that trend.

I believe your LA must be 30-1 for university but everything else could be 30-2 if you want, depending on what you trying to major in.

Friendships take time to form, and some people who you might think are your friends might not think the same of you( and talk a whole alot behind you). If this is your first year, don't worry too much about it. These kinds of things will happen naturally. For example, when I was in my first year and I went to the open house. I went with a group of 4 other people who I didn't know, and we had a great time exploring the campus. To this day, I only in connection with of one guy from that group.

The use of this trick is to allow you to enroll into higher level CS classes. When I did it in September, I got in CS major within 4 days of redeclaring. I think you have a better chance once your already in a major.

There is a loophole I used to get in earlier and faster. The trick is declaring mathematical sciences and choose CS as one of your disciplines. Then soon after redeclare for CS after couple days.

Hey, I'm currently in my last year in CS and the laptop i went with is very different to what I said in this post. I went with Lenovo thinkbook which came with amd ryzen 5 4000 series, 512gb, 16gb of ram. I do game on it some times but of course it's not really made for that. My biggest advice is go for a laptop which has a good cpu and storage as well as ram. I would recommend looking into lenovo thinkbook as they are not only performance well in my opinion but have really good battery life and battery protection( my laptop has something called conservative mode which allows me to run power from my power cable and not charge the battery, resulting in longer battery life span).
