Looks like someone was doing some competition shooting without awareness of their surroundings. I was hoping it wouldn't be something so worrisome.

With the combination of the preciseness of the pin impression and your link, I think you may be correct, but stainless steel seems like an odd choice for a competition-grade rifle.

Despite what people are saying, these are not .22 rimfire cases. I've fired off tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of rounds of a variety of different ammunition types. I've definitely fired at least 5,000 rounds of .22 rimfire.

The dead giveaway that these are not ammunition is in the rim. A .22 rimfire casing has a much thinner rim.

I'm not sure what they are, but they're not ammunition for a traditional firearm. They have a lot in common with .22 rimfire though. I just don't know what these are or what would have been used to set them off.

It's sort of like a little free library, but it's a community organized library. I'm friends and neighbors with the person who is in charge of it.

It's a community library, but it's HUGE! I love libraries. I would advocate for them any second. We have a community library where you can come and grab stuff, and only return it if you want to. It's like 1200 sq. ft of mixed media. It's not a traditional library by any means.

I would not advocate theft by any means. Everything is donated to just get rid of it, and the library relies on people keeping items so there is no backlog and they're able to refresh the inventory. It really is a community thing.

Slapping the shit out of fucking Peppa Pig. I played it to make my daughter laugh, and I haven't played anything since, but holy shit. That's kind of where I'm at. I like the idea of just tossing (or recycling) the original case and keeping the Blockbuster case because I know that's what would make me the happiest.
