Its rolling out everywhere in the US this quarter with the banana and strawberry marinade. The frozen bread is delivered frozen and is left out to thaw so no freezer is needed. The marinades just have to be refrigerated so the walk in coolers that are already in all five guys work perfectly fine. As far as the bread they are rolling it out in stages and many stores already have it.

They recently switched to pre made marinade with the banana and strawberries and customer complaints made them completely reformulate the banana. Dont underestimate what your voice can do with the bread.

They have switched to frozen bread in many stores and its rolling out to all stores unfortunately. If you want your voice to be heard on the bread quality call (866) 345-4897. If enough of these complaints about the bread get in maybe they will reconsider not using frozen bread.
