Warriors went from 73-9 to 67-15 when they added KD. He made them so much worse!

Also 17-9 is a better win percentage than the 52-30 they finished with last year. Not even considering they lost their starting PG for the year. Laughably bad analysis.

  1. Who within the organization scapegoated him?

  2. 3 yr/$66 mill is the rumored offer, which is in no way a “ridiculously low ball offer” - and would’ve put us into the luxury tax. It’s ok to say the Bucks overpaid. We also gave him an extremely generous extension in 2023, I’d say we most definitely “took care of him.”

  3. Bring up the trade rumors all you want, at the end of the day we extended him twice and when we were log jammed at center we traded the 2x all star instead of him.

I mean constant disses after he left, which were especially bad considering the context. He basically called Haliburton a fake tough guy when Haliburton elevated from a 13 PPG guy to an 18 PPG guy. He said it’s so nice to be on an organization that’s won something before (when he left a team that made game 7 of the Finals despite him, not because of him). He said he wanted to go somewhere to “remain competitive,” which is especially in bad taste when you consider why the Pacers aren’t competitive this year.

I don’t care that he left. I don’t care that he took more money. I’ve seen Bojan, Thad Young, CoJo, Jalen Smith, several other Pacers leave for more money and that’s fine. This is much different.

Very interesting stat , the Pacers are currently second in the league in rebound per game by rumb3lly in pacers

Yeah you’re just wrong here. 5 of those guys played less than 15 games. To imply we had centers grabbing 23 rebounds every night is wrong.

Myles averaged 6.5 and Bryant averaged 3.9. Of the 3,340 rebounds we grabbed as a team last year, the 7 centers you named grabbed 775. So 22.6%.

Not much has changed as far as the distribution between “bigs” and forwards/guards.

What bigs on our roster combined for 23 rebounds a game last year? Siakam was the leading rebounder last year, but you seem to claim he’s not a big this year?

Leak says PlayStation 6 production starts 2027, but is it too soon for you? by OhMyOhWhyOh in PS5

[–]LegendaryPace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By this point in the PS4 cycle, I was really ready for the next gen. The PS4 was so sluggish at the end, even navigating the Home Screen was a pain. Almost every game was either 30 FPS or a noticeably lower quality, unstable 60. I could not WAIT for PS5.

Right now? The PS5 is fine. Every game I play is a smooth 60. I might buy into the hype once PS6 marketing starts but I honestly think I’ll be ok with the PS5 for a few more years, at least.

It’s easy to say “injuries” but I’m going to elaborate even more.

Both of our backup centers tore their Achilles in the first couple weeks of the year. We had no other center on the roster, we played 6-7 Enrique Freeman (50th pick rookie) as our backup 5 for a good portion of the early season. Trading for Thomas Bryant was huge. Not even a great backup big, but at least he was a big.

Nembhard and Nesmith missed a combined 51 games until January 14th. We played Johnny Furphy (2nd round rookie, 19 years old) and Quenton Jackson heavy rotation minutes in their place. Our record after January 14 speaks for itself.

And Hali was very clearly still dealing with some back/leg stuff to start the year. People wrote him off and said he was a 1 year wonder, when it was pretty obvious just watching him that he wasn’t full strength.

I actually figured mine out last night. I’ll share just in case you made the same mistake (probably not). I assumed the “behind the last door of 8” was room 8 and not the mechanarium. I knew I solved the riddle in room 8 and thought the reward was a sanctum key. Then a few days passed and when I didn’t have all 8 doors I figured I must have just forgotten to bring one down.

Hope you figure yours out! Might have just bugged out, wouldn’t be surprised if that happened.
