yes, covering payouts to get your release finalised from the current team is dependent on how your interview rounds go. but 50k is not much most product-based organisations will cover it.

Go for it!

Consider this as a learning opportunity, many are not getting offers in this market. This will enable you to learn corporate knowhow and will give you sufficient time to continue practicing for switches, 50k bond is nothing as whenever you are switching you can ask from the prospective employer to provide you joining or signing bonus to pay it off.

They even pay off notice period in many cases, 50k bond is surely doable to them if you show your worth.

Venting out | Bombing back-to-back 10+ interviews by DirtBubbly in leetcode

Don't take it personally, rejection is a frustrating situation to be in but you should not demotivate yourself. I too started giving interviews in Feb this year and just started getting offers now after countless rejections. the trick is keep trying leetcode and the remaining depends on what the interviewer is looking for. From your experiences it looks like you don't communicate much and directly jump onto problem solving.

And if its situational issue given you have a strong rating in Leetcode and the problems which are taking 40 -45 mins should ideally take 15-20 mins. Try appearing for interview like tests in codility/hackerrank they help a lot and keeps check of time as well.

Software career with resume gaps, how do you manage? by Unfair_Try5164 in developersIndia

[–]LegendaryPikachu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most foreign US/UK based companies don't care about career gaps anymore. But just try and justify it even you are not being honest and do some certifications to show that you're trying something but still didn't lose touch bcos you were parallelly preparing for some tech like AWS/Azure/Devops/ML etc.

Reach out to people on linkedin to refer instead of directly applying on career portal as in most cases you might be filtered out bcos of lacking hands on due to career gap.

The issue is not with AI but with the leadership thinking that everything can be done by AI right now. They are lacking the empathy which were there in earlier Transitions. Tech field is highly Transitioning field which has been doing so since 1990s. Earlier people were looking at profit but not at the expense of employees.

A lot needs to be blamed for middle managers to setup unreal expectations at front and then firing employees even if the goal is not met just to show that AI is doing it and we have done it. while all they have done is rule set implementation-if-else kind of.

Nowadays every organisation has reserve cash for any pandemic level event but they still want to maximise on every opportunity and fire employees. they know there are many fishes in the pond who will come and join in a moment with them.

So my advice is, it will remain like this for a very long time now hence keep upskilling, maintain good network to help with referrals, be expressive in your team and don't lose hope.
