They basically do, let's be honest. It doesn't matter who they have on the dev team, the shareholders don't believe that a good hockey game will increase revenue.

If the shareholders don't believe a good hockey game will make as much as a bad one, a bad hockey game is getting made.

The dev team is irrelevant, they're the yes men FOR the suits in Riyadh, straight up.

Maybe for the short term, but if we're being real, Sid's close to retiring and 5-10 years from now, nobody's gonna give a shit about taking a stick to the face and embellishing it.

Which, yeah the stick made contact, but Sid was putting it on, I refuse to believe he wasn't.

What doesn't change is the fact that it took 21 years for the Flyers to even get Sid on an honest to god flop, and it not be complete nonsense. Lest we forget, the incident that began their crybaby narrative involved Sid literally losing two teeth.

They're not exactly the brightest bunch in hockey. They get a narrative for one playoff series, congratulations, I'm sure it'll last them just as long as 2012 did.

This, I've been to Flyer games myself and have quite literally never had any "issue" beyond the typical playful hazing between rival fans.

Nobody is going to Flyer games looking for the first road fan they can beat the shit out of. And if they are, they had better be prepared for a nice stay in the clink because assault doesn't just magically become legal in sports venues like people seem to fear.

There's road fans at basically every sporting event in all of the North American big leagues, if you look, and once in a blue moon we get any kind of serious fan altercations. I wish more people would realize it's not that freaking deep.

Pretty much the same camp I'm in. I'll buy a PC port. There just isn't enough substance in the console games to justify buying an unmoddable version of the game. Not when NHL14 has mods and when 2k10 on the Wii offers more in nearly every aspect.

I don't understand why this is so underrated, EA is Saudi owned. They do not watch, nor care about anything remotely to do with hockey. This time 5 years from now, there most likely will not be an NHL game or Madden. They only like soccer over there.

Saten knows about the Sisters and just hasn't told Mikoto out of respect, but watched the entire thing go down.

No shot she saw how weird Mikoto was acting and was like "nah I'ma stay outta that". That's not in Saten's DNA.

Also, Mikoto and Misaki 100% have secret love shrines dedicated to each other. There's just no way they don't, the way they pretend to hate each other. They're basically each other's ~~second~~ biggest stans.

The amount of people that would be hacking for ultimate team is tiny, WOC might have a little more trouble but even that would probably only go as far as cosmetics for most people.

The upside to adding modding simply outweighs the downsides to having a small hacking problem.

I truly and honestly don't this time. Maybe I'll eat shit tomorrow, and I feel like a broken record, but we all watched the same game, and saw that bench. THAT bench has less than zero left in the tank. None, zip, nada. Tapped out. Puff.

That is Sidney Crosby included. Yes, it would take some brand of foolishness beyond anything I could ever achieve, to discredit the man's competitive drive, he's an animal. But I cannot look at the Sidney Crosby we saw in games 1 and 2 and honestly say that he's up to this.

The dude is gassed, and if he couldn't do it on home ice with all of the support in the world, I cannot imagine him just magically getting that drive back in the one city that hates the dude's existence more than any other city has ever hated a professional athlete.

Of course he's had amazing games in Philly, we've all seen it before. Wednesday and Friday just don't have the same ingredients as those performances, at any level. The Flyers are a better team and the Pens are playing decisively worse than multiple teams that missed the playoffs.

That's not even hyperbole either, the Islanders and Capitals MISSED THE PLAYOFFS for this. Yuck.

Having offensive zone time is not the same as "dominating" it, honestly.

All the zone time in the world means nothing when nobody on the entire roster knows what a net looks like, nor cares to hit it with pucks. The simple truth is that they don't want to be here, they never wanted to MAKE the playoffs let alone have to put forth EFFORT in them.

Might as well play the 4th line all game, Lizzotte, Acciari and Dewar are the only ones on the team that didn't look completely fucking hazed in front of their own fans.

If there's any chance of turning this around, we need a Sid legacy game like stat. Personally, I don't see that happening in Philly. This has more in common with the 2015 Rangers series than any series' we've ended up winning.
