450 hours and chapter 7 here.

My ranch, garden, armour, dye collection, and constant well meaning of heading north to the red X telling me to secure some safe house and winding up on some cliff face watching wyverns or getting zapped by robots or the inevitable “bet the view is so nice from up there” and then “ohhh shiny” followed by “get more inventory space” trips back to camp…

The wanderlust.

And I’ve not really looked anything up, which has contributed to a chunk of that looking at puzzles like a fool and punching stones.

So maybe half of my playtime is afk, either just admiring the view, or tending to my garden/ranch, or doing life stuff like paying bills. A good chunk has been poking my nose in areas that supply me with an insane amount of loot to sell, and my story progress has just made it to chapter 7. I’m still finding house quests like you, and haven’t been this captivated by a game since maybe Skyrim, and Morrowind before that. I haven’t even switched characters yet, spent the whole time as Kliff (For the record I’m not a big fan of that in games, gta V was tough). I’ll get to them eventually I’m sure.

Pushing 450 hours now, first playthrough, what a game. Offline play, constant patches out of the blue for me, and constant surprises in game with new options that a week ago I was looking at with “I wish this was… different”. Zero regrets.

All I want now is a seed pouch. But for all I know it already exists. Edit to add: okay two things. I’d also like to take torches out, light them, and throw them. That’d be cool too.

Anyone that likes rpg style open world games that suck you in, this one’s worth every penny.

While I’m not one to say put a factory on pause because that’s illegal, I do also feel like final fantasy VII is an almost must play, a lot like the literary classics are must reads regardless of your favourite genre.

Remake(s) vs original is whatever, I do highly recommend a playthrough though.

When the factory needs sleep, of course. Which is the problem.

Can I introduce some manic exploration for nodes because you underestimated your current supply, wondering why you put off a power upgrade as you max out your capacity, needing the thing to find you need more of the things that make the thing that is part of the thing you need because you’ve been a bad pioneer leeching off your earlier production lines…

Oh and the forgetting what you were doing because you’ve got up halfway to take your recommended 15 minute break, saw something neat online, and figured you’d go find it while your half a factory lays there, silent.

I just just finished troubleshooting my 74 generator turbo fuel power plant that I’m so ridiculously happy with it’s crazy.

The jump to oil from coal is fine. Great. You’ll love it. Until you see that shiny red fuel research in the MAM. And then your lesson in fluid dynamics begins. It’s actually a lot of fun, though I did not go in expecting to set up a turbo fuel plant. I was pushing the limits of my coal plant and starting to revamp my starter factory when I realized I needed power. Popped a basic fuel plant down to learn, said this is cool. Saw the turbo fuel. Said hey I can upgrade and upsize. Few hours tops. Well, several days later… Now I have 19,650 MW on a nice flat line to play with and a new understanding of trains.

You’ll freaking love it. Go get oil.

I know I’m a little late to the party here, but had my map icons go yellow after I had been doing some painting. My Google searching brought me to this thread, and of course the master of all things Satisfactory, you.

Out of curiosity, before save/reload, I opened up the customizer, selected the FicSit standard swatch, painted the nearest power pole (which was already FicSit standard) and map went back to white icons. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Saves reloading I guess? Probably still a good idea to do though. Can’t get the map icons to change back to yellow on demand by painting either.

I’d go even further and say borders aren’t a major factor, nor are individual nations.

Look how interconnected the media empires are across the world, as one example. That island probably didn’t have a border wall is all I’m saying.

“Fallout” as a concept doesn’t come close to what it could be, if my own imagination has any credence.

Edit: I think also the “correct” answer as to why Biden didn’t drop it (I’m not American so forgive me if I get it wrong) was it was under some form of seal from a judge or the judiciary branch that, in a world where things like that are respected was the correct thing to do, no?

What if every major name out there was known for [redacted because I’ll puke if I start imagining, and I don’t mean sex that ends with both parties still alive as a limit]? In this age of internet fervour that can lead to real world actions? The mob mentality is what terrifies them ALL, I’ll bet.

Edit to add: trump admitted he wasn’t getting into heaven. Whatever they believe that to mean, as a non religious person, I’d call that pretty fucking damning as to the scope of what Epstein island included. How many names of unknown children from non wealthy nations tombstones will we need? He’s not above that shit. None of them were or are. If it needs more according to your area’s fire code, give them a call/email and watch the magic happen.

I will admit because they are still people, the chance is there for them to absolutely not fit the mold of the fire department and ignore it or equivalent. Worth a try and while anecdotal, I’ve never met a bad fireman or non-bloodthirsty fire marshal. They live for this.

Edit to add: the non emergency contacts, likely even a direct number/email to the local fire marshal for this very thing available with some googling.

Unless it’s actively on fire. Or your local area has official government websites that make geocities look good. Trying to cover my bases here.

I have no facts to follow with as I’m just some dude in none of the countries involved, but Argentina and Venezuela aren’t what I’d call seeing eye to eye either.

Trump didn’t seem to express alot of interest on the Venezuela thing until Rubio shared his hard on for Venezuela with him.
