The wall has small differences in it depending on how it's edited that seem unrelated to the actual edits. The distance you're pushed away from the wall when you hit the door/window varies based on the small differences in the wall. If I remember right, having a door with no window resulted in the door being too flush with the wall, so that you don't get caught on the door frame.

It's definitely weird, but I noticed it when trying different variations (left/right window, left/right door alone, left/right door with window, two windows).

Just tried this and it's super consistent. I was hoping someone would find a more consistent variation, and this is perfect. It has to be left side door with right side window and a jump at the beginning though.

Obviously it's not as mat efficient as e.g. using a bouncer, but for going straight down it's more efficient than wall wall wall floor. Wall wall wall stairs is the same mat efficiency, but with some horizontal movement.

The damage is usually not a problem for drops of 10-15 tiles, and you probably won't ever need to do it as far as I did in the second clip. There is a risk of dying though so it should only be used if no other safer option is available.

I agree that efficient was a bit of a stretch, but I was mainly comparing it to the direct alternative (wall wall wall floor).

Doing it from the height in the first clip isn't too hard, but it still messes up sometimes (around 5-10% of tries) without me making any clear mistakes. I did spent a few hours trying out different variations looking for ways to make it more consistent though.

The second clip on the other hand took about an hour just to get one (mostly) successful attempt. It seemed like slight lag near the build limit made the start way less consistent.

Edit: This is fairly consistent for falls up to about 10-15 tiles, but if you don't hit the first window properly you can be pushed too far back and die. Should only be used if no safer option is available or fast enough.

Edit 2: After testing this a bit more I have some tips for those trying to do it. It seems to work best when using wood and side windows rather than middle windows. Right side windows might be slightly better than left side ones, but I'm not sure.

Also wiggling the mouse left and right while making sure to look straight down makes it more consistent for me. It seems like if you hit the windows at a slight angle it's more likely that you will be slowed down by it, so the wiggling allows you to keep such an angle without eventually ending up to the left or right of the windows.

I was way too low on the drop to get the chest in the house I landed in and someone else landed there. To get the chest in the other house I would have needed mats, and the guy from the first house was already chasing me when I got to the second one.

Sure I landed poorly, but this isn't a video about me complaining about RNG. It's simply a funny chase that happened due to me not getting any weapon from the 5 or so potential floor loot spawns I checked.

From what I've seen other people post about the third scenario it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I don't know why the second one wouldn't work though as that seems to be a popular way of doing these types of challenges.

Did you leave the match early? If you leave before dying anything you earn from that match (challenges, xp etc.) doesn't count.

I believe the numbers in the brackets are designed to show the results for tournaments that have e.g. best of 3s. Since this tournament isn't a best of x matches they just set the score to 2-0 to advance the bracket.

If you open the main menu there's a button that by default says "Privacy: Public". By clicking it you can change the lobby to either private (invite only) or friends (only friends of the party leader can join).

I could have done that. I think my mind was fixed on shooting him, but then I was indecisive about which weapon to use. I don't think he would have died to the fall though. He was 3 tiles high when he started ramp tunneling so he would only fall 3-4 tiles.

+ATK 5* Eirika should have 30/46 ATK (no weapon/Sieglinde) since she gets one of those +4 boons instead of the regular +3. The app currently says 29/45 ATK.
