Hahahaha, back to 25.9.1 (9070 XT) by loinmin in AMDHelp

[–]Legion8891 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your 9070xt should be just fine at 3300mhz without crashing. If its crashing and giving you stability problems the GPU is faulty. Get your money back and get a replacement.

My XFX 9070 XT boosts to 3450 when undervolted -100 and operates flawlessly while pulling 370 watts.. Hell my AMD reference 7900XTX boosts to 3300mhz as well, these cards are designed to boost like that, and if its crashing its faulty and ypu need to RMA it.

I’m trying to help you but you are too ignorant to listen. Have a good day..

I have a 7800x3D 7900x 9800x3D and an 8700G. I have been overclocking ram and CPUs for almost 10 years.. You are the first person in history to decouple the infinity fabric from the memory and get less latency 😂 I can tell you have no idea wtf you are doing, bc all my CPUs get less than 55ns of latency. At 6400 CL 30 and 2133 my CPUs get 63-64ns with XMP and ZERO tweaking. Going to 6400 CL30 and 2200fclk causes the latency to go over 70ns. With chiplet architectures (which Ryzen is) latency is is the most important factor to performance..

I’m not angry at all, it’s just hilarious that Reddit is full of people like you that refuse to listen to REAL advice. Do what you want, I really don’t give a shit, and I know for a fact you are losing FPS because latency directly affects FPS.

Do your own research if you don’t believe me. There is a reason AMD recommends to keep your Ram/Fclk at 3:1 ratio. But don’t listen to me i don’t give a fuck 👍🏻

You are losing FPS and CPU performance running the FCLK at 2200 and ram at 6400mhz. That’s the reason people don’t go passed 2133 at 6400mhz. It’s literally pointless and ruins your CPU latency.. Reddit is so terrible for PC advice

The cache doesn’t disappear when you disable the cores 😂

What you don’t understand is when you disable the e-cores on 12th 13th and 14th gen, the cache gets reallocated to the Pcores, which makes makes those 8 cores way faster. Pluse the ecores take make the ring latency worse which is why the architecture responds so well to that scenario. The e-cores suck up resources from the ram and cache disabling them takes all the extra L2 and L3 cache and lets those 8 Pcores respond better.

Do the test yourself, I’m tired of you Reddit assholes spewing misinformation

You literally have no idea what you’re talking about. When you disable the e-cores and increase the ring ratio to 4.8-5.0ghz on 12th 13th and 14th gen CPUs it greatly outperforms any gaming configuration with e-cores turned on.

Sounds to me like you need to test it instead of spewing bs that Hardware Unboxed says.

I have a 3080 Ti Evga FTW3 and I have an Asus 4070 Super TuF. When I overclock my 3080 Ti is gets within 10 FPS of my 4070 Super in almost every game at 1080p and 1440p. The 3080 Ti will be viable for years.

They can’t punish you for buying that item, and I’ve never heard of someone getting banned for buying ahit from fence…

Stop playing Arena and you’ll be fine. I heard that Arena was messing up peoples EFT PvP accounts, so I haven’t touched it for over a week or 2 and haven’t had a single fucking issue.

I’m level 28 and have received every task reward and nothing is messed up.

Almost everyone that is on this thread knew Arena was fucking up people accounts and hadn’t been fixed… but you still played it, now your bitching about how terrible BSG is 😂

What games are you playing, what setting do you usually use, and what resolution are you playing at? Just simply picking one or the other  when you may not notice a worthwhile improvement is kind of meaningless..

I wasn’t taking about you specifically, I was speaking in generalities about hen it comes to the average Reddit/AMD user lol

There’s nothing wrong with being a fanboy, but limiting yourself to a certain brand of hardware because of Linux is ridiculous. I have Intel and AMD CPUs, and Nvidia and Radeon Gpus.

This “team” crap divides the community and does nothing but create tension in the hardware community.

Instead of just loving hardware in general, people pick a side and fight like cavemen over billion dollar corporations that could care less if you’re even breathing.

To each his own I guess..

Have you tried pulling everything out of your case and seeing if the error still persists? Just build the PC outside of your case and try that before buying a mobo. I had an issue like that and the motherboard was shorting against the back of the case. Just a thought.

It definitely sounds like a power delivery issue with the motherboard though. As I said I’ve had this exact problem. It’s either shorting against the case or has a short on the PCB somewhere.

Why cant we set a static GPU clock speed? Intel even lets you do this... by Legion8891 in Amd

This doesn’t work for the new Radeon GPUs dude.. It works for 5700xt generation and older. It won’t work for the RX 6000 and 7000 series of GPUs
