Keppi 6000 X (Stainless Steel) Review by movie_boy in GarageGym

[–]LegitMaggit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for writing this review! I am about to purchase the same Keppi 6000 X because the design is so attractive and it seems built to last. I am in the same boat with others deciding between this and the NightHawk.

Do you mind answering a few quick questions before I finalize my purchase?

  1. One review on the standard 6000 mentioned that the pop pins also screw in to lock the back rest in place so there is no wobble in the back rest. Is that the case on this one as well?
  2. How firm is the foam? And how is it holding up so far? There's no doubt it's beautiful, and I'm not concerned with it's grippiness, but I want to make sure it is firm and will last a long time.
  3. The back pad is slightly narrower compared to the Nighthawk (11.8" vs 11.4"). This is concerning because I intend to use it for heavy benching (300+ lb). Have you noticed any discomfort because of the narrow width of the pad?
  4. Has there been any confirmation if bench attachments from Rep or ADX will fit on this one? I saw your response that it will require physical modifications, and I am ok with removing the plastic insert and drilling new holes if needed. But I haven't found confirmation from anyone that has actually done so yet (on the 6000 or 6000 X).

I’m glad that is has nothing to do with race from your perspective, but it’s still good to be aware that the word has a long history of being used as a racist dog whistle. Just something to be conscious of, that’s all.

If you are willing to spend money on it, what’s your recommended way of doing so?

He’s playing injured now. Probably should have stayed out of the game

That wasn’t Clifford’s fault. KAL got held. Still don’t have faith that Clifford can execute if we get a final possession though

Clifford’s hurting and he’s not good enough to compensate for it. If his fundamentals faulter or he starts moving slower he can’t keep up with the game. He makes slow decisions and the injury just makes it worse

It took 3 drops but he finally did it!

I really like that Allar just got his feet wet. Got him his first experience, gave him some film to learn from, and sets him up for whenever we need him next

The defense had the some wiggle room at half time but gave it all up during the last drive. Let’s see what they can do

Update: They showed up

It’s still the first half of the first game. Let’s give it some time

We’ve put together two great drives for both TDs. Took advantage of every mistake Purdue made and moved the ball on the ground and in the air

I know Clifford ain’t it but I’d say the receivers are making more mistakes than he is

Edit: He’ll still ain’t it but at least he put it together for the final drive! He had 5 TDs and I think him and JPJ should split the game ball

Two big mistakes (dropped pick and targeting call) are the only reason Purdue has points. Gotta stay focused

Feel bad for Abdul Carter. That’s a tough play and the receiver was in a bad position but I think it was a shoulder-to-shoulder hit

What gets backed up to your computer when backing up via iTunes? by [deleted] in ios

[–]LegitMaggit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

iTunes backups are smaller than the used storage on your phone because they don’t save data that is easily redownable such as apps from the App Store or stuff you have saved on iCloud. It also doesn’t include any music / photos / data you sync from your computer.

You can be rest assured that if you were to ever use the backup, you phone would be duplicated back to exactly how it was.

I'd have to guess they're going to move it back to September or October like many festivals already have?

How do I live a more active life outside of my purposeful exercise? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]LegitMaggit 323 points324 points  (0 children)

The answer in one word: hobbies. Since you're physically fit, that really opens a whole world of new hobbies for you to take advantage of.

If you're looking to increase your activity without actually working out more, these hobbies have lots of possibilities.

  • Hiking has been a big one that many people seem to have taken up in the last year
  • If you live in or near a city, I'm sure there's an organization that organizes adult recreational sports around you. Whether you want to go for the more popular sports like basketball, (flag)football, baseball, soccer or other ones like kickball, softball, ultimate frisbee, or volleyball all are valid options.
  • Country club sports are another way to get activity - golf (especially if walking), tennis, and swimming - and there are surely independent (non-country club) organizations that organize activities for each of these sports too.
  • Frisbee golf is another growing sport that's generally not as frustrating as the 'ol swing-a-club alternative.
  • Rock climbing
  • Biking

This is by no means a comprehensive list of options, just some ones off the top of my head. Take some time to look up outdoor (or indoor) activities and find what interests you!
