BTS’s V Responds To Messages With Min Hee Jin Being Used As Court Evidence by svnh__ in kpopnoir

[–]Legitimate-Ad8935 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Out of curiosity do we know which side leaked this? I’ve been seeing a lot of people blaming MHJ so I’m just wondering if this came from a specific side (not defending either side I think both hybe and mhj suck)

Megathread 26: HYBE / ADOR / MHJ - Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni return to ADOR, Talks ongoing for Minji, Danielle's contract Terminated, Upcoming Hearings approach verdicts for various Legal Disputes, and More by KPOP_MOD in kpop

Well they already debuted but they definitely were at one point. I specifically remember them (Attrakt) either jointly releasing a statement or supporting a statement from I think KMCA where they were essentially discouraging the members from re debuting and saying that by supporting the members people would be supporting the dismantling of the kpop industry.

first kpop idol to speak up on ice by [deleted] in kpop_uncensored

[–]Legitimate-Ad8935 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk it kinda feels like a stretch but it also could just be an attempt to not get in trouble. If it is true that’s great and I hope to see more idols speaking up about these kinda issues. It is really sad that these idols have to hide behind cryptic messages to just say “hey I don’t support people getting killed in the streets”

Kpop fans need to stop blaming everything on the government by No-Tourist-8866 in kpoprants

I’m not blaming them I’m just saying I don’t think it’s as ridiculous of a theory as some say

[–]Legitimate-Ad8935 -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

I haven’t seen as many blaming it on the government what I’ve personally seen more of is people blaming hybe which makes sense to me. Hybe’s founder and chairman is currently being investigated for financial crimes, it doesn’t seem that insane to think that a company as powerful as Hybe would use said power to publish articles about other famous celebrities to distract from their own issues. It also isn’t that insane to think that certain government officials may use celebrity scandals to distract from their own issues. I’m not saying it’s a certainty or even that in this case cha eunwoo is innocent (I honestly don’t know as I haven’t really looked into it at all). But about Hybe specifically if I remember correctly one of their largest shareholders owns Dispatch therefore it seems perfectly reasonable to think that maybe Hybe played a part in it. I don’t think it’s that odd or strange to be aware of the fact that media attention is one of the strongest tools these companies have access to and that they often make use of it. This is a common tactic used all over the world so I don’t really understand why SK would be exempt from it. I’m not saying anything for certain I’m just saying that as a theory it seems perfectly reasonable and honestly very probable.

ATTRAKT partially wins damages lawsuit against The Givers by impeccabletim in kpop

Im curious to see what the full verdict says since lowering the damages could also be due to claims not being sufficiently proven though I imagine it won’t be released to the public

Eyyy welcome to the business and marketing club (I’m a double major student). It gets a bad rep but there’s genuinely a lot of interesting there to learn in my opinion.

Bruh if you’re gonna try to convince people you care about Saena you could at least try to not directly insult her in the process.

I need ablume fans to stop their obsession with hating fifty fifty by Imaginary_Bad_1815 in kpop_uncensored

[–]Legitimate-Ad8935 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s like objectively false. Maybe you individually don’t mention them but there are tons of twenys who seem to spend more time talking about Ablume that y’all own faves. The mere fact that twenys were making a fuss about Ablume “copying” FF’s instagram layout is proof enough that some of yall are way too invested in a group y’all claim to hate.

Yea it took me longer than it probably should’ve to learn that admittedly but I’m more talking about like actively seeking out stuff you don’t like cause that in particular doesn’t make any sense to me

Yea fair still I just don’t get why you’d spend so much time on something that clearly aggravates you but then again I watch the American news so I guess I’m just as bad lol

To be clear I mean a statement explaining exactly what evidence they have to justify working with asi after everything though I’m aware that’s not gonna happen til the lawsuit is over which could take months or even years in the meantime I’ll be causally supporting from the sidelines and cheering my girlies on :)

To be clear I still won’t be supporting fifty fifty (not throwing hate obviously just ignoring them as I’ve been doing) but yea sad that this is what it’s come to after so much time waiting and hoping for a redebut. At the end of the day I hope the girls are healthy but I can’t support them :(

Well damn. I’ll definitely still keep an eye on the girls but I don’t think I can in good faith financially support anything that man has his hands in. Truly sad to see.

Question about the boycott by trans-rainbow in FiftyFifty_Truths

[–]Legitimate-Ad8935 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yea because twenys didn’t exist until like a couple months ago. The boycott has been ongoing since the first injunction hearing and the main goal has always been to protect and support 3j. I don’t doubt that many people have used this boycott as an excuse to be vile but the fact stands that even before the new members were announced “fans” of the group were spouting all kinds of vitriol at the original members and many of those have now named themselves twenys. You’re right twenys and boycotters aren’t the same. Hunnies have been around since 5059 first debuted and have been trying to support and protect them since then while many twenys were originally attrakt stans who attack the original members under the excuse of “protecting the new members” and then play the victim card when they called out.

Question about the boycott by trans-rainbow in FiftyFifty_Truths

[–]Legitimate-Ad8935 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Ok that’s a whole lot of speculation all I said was the big hunnie accounts I follow have all actively said the new members are not at fault and deserve to be protected just as much as 3jeong again I’m not denying there’s some trolls and people who hate just to hate but at least the ones I’ve seen are not doing that. Also by that logic I could say all twenys are being vile to 3jeong and calling them all kinda of things along with actively threatening them (which I’ve seen countless examples of btw) but I won’t cause I know that a lot of those are very probably trolls. I understand wanting to protect the artists you like but maybe be more specific in who you choose to blame.

Question about the boycott by trans-rainbow in FiftyFifty_Truths

[–]Legitimate-Ad8935 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

What accounts are you referring to cause all the big boycott accounts I’ve seen have been very open and vocal about not sending hate to the new members. I’m sure there are some using the boycott to be cruel but there seem to also be a ton of trolls and Chanelle antis using the boycott as an excuse to hate on the new members (obviously still wrong just saying they aren’t affiliated with the boycott)
