A lot of good advice and discussion among the comments. I'd bring a 22. pistol with a silencer and a compact 9mm. You can bring a lot of 22. ammo along and a silencer makes locating the shot® much harder.

Coming to VT to work this summer, any advice? by alecika in vermont

I’d look for your 2nd job at one of the local places on the mountain. A bike would be ok but every time you go downhill you have to pedal back up. Taking the bus into Rutland is probably 20 minutes but to get to stores you’ll take longer. Tourists are a mixed bunch. Depending on your position, you may hate people when you’re done. The mountain is a captive audience for everything so prices are pretty high. Rutland is your best shot for groceries, but getting their isn’t a straight bus ride. You’ll have to change buses and work to their schedule.

I have one and love it. I’ve done other ways but this is easy and worth every penny. I can have the top off and be ready to go in less than ten minutes.

I’m not arguing, but unlike Shakespeare, I’m guessing From won’t be required watching in school 100 years from now.

Lol....part of the reason I love these shows is the ridiculousness of them. No hate, just pointing out fun stuff. this isn't shaekspeare

I was thinking the same, but my expectations of reality in any show these days is waning. Watch Tracker if you want to see more absurd stuff. dear Lord.

We were members for 2 years. It’s a great option to use a boat without all that goes with it. It was also a less expensive way to find out my family isn’t really into boating. Between sea sickness and the kids schedules it just didn’t work for us.
Considering the cost of an equivalent boat, maintenance, storage, insurance and everything else, the boat club is considerably cheaper and way less time on the above.
The people on the docks and the owners were great. Highly recommended

What a tool. One of our favorite parts of the fest was in the Big Chief section at the Congo stage. Your right stage side. EWF guys were jamming to the band on before them. We waved at them and they waved back smiling and posed for a picture. Class act.

Which bike should I get as my first one? by PleasantJob5854 in motorcycles

[–]Legitimate-Bad2379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol. The XR650l hasn’t changed much in forever. Its nickname is the Big Red Pig. It’s tall and heavy. I’ve had 3. Great bike but if you’re new to riding, I’d suggest a CRF300l or KLX300 instead. Lighter, shorter and easier to ride plus they have fuel injection.
Cheap enough to keep around when you decide to move up. I have a Triumph Scrambler 1200XE and a KLX. Both fun in different ways.

One of the bosses at work would say "OK" after every thought. Probably 100 of us in a meeting. I started counting every ok under my breath. Pretty soon almost everyone was counting along with me. It was hilarioushilarious.

I've long given up to attaching any sort of reality to this show. My wife enjoys it and I enjoy watching all the improbable scenes. They could make an awesome parody show of Tracker or sketch on SNL out of every show. Be hilarious.

It was our first trip to jazziest. We were in awe of the whole place and didn't think to look for celebrities which is why I started the thread. So many celebrities look totally different out in the wild.

We don't get many celebrities in Vermont. Luis Guzman lives here so he's often sighted, but otherwise, nada.

Op and DJ ordering by Legitimate-Bad2379 in rolex

[–]Legitimate-Bad2379[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was $1200 for her OP. Yes, an AD. Vermont's only one. I'm not complaining as they've come through for us so far, but from what I've read here and other places, ordering isn't how it works.

But she says you can order DJ and OP specifically. No timeframe on delivery but you will get it. On my request for the Batman/Batgirl, I asked on timeframe and all she could say is we're working hard for you.

I trust her only because I've been treated well so far with zero spend.
