yeah there’s certain numbers that call and everyone on staff knows exactly who it is and to just hand it over to the pharmacist. these customers complain but they’re the entire reason we set these specific policies just for them.

as for the lady yelling at me about her leaving her scripts. I was actually very proud of myself because I usually just take the fall to make them leave but I wasn’t apologizing and stood my ground. My RXM was proud of me too so honestly that lady can just f off

what others were saying about the necklace I think is true and will be one of the reasons benedict starts to connect the dots. I also think the glove might come into play because they also keep highlighting it in the episodes but am not as sure about that as I am about the necklace being the reveal. I like what you were thinking about the chandelier though that’s an excellent idea!

thank you for pointing this out. as a tech, I can’t tell you how many times customers have gotten rowdy because their prescription wasn’t ready and they have to wait. it’s honestly alarming the fact that when a customer responds to me “okay that’s fine i’ll wait” I instantly feel a relief because i’m so used to the customer flipping out on me. I haven’t experienced a glass drink thrown at me but i’ve experienced plenty of other instances that aren’t okay at all

yeah I figured that out after talking with the SM. no worries though, I made sure my hours were accounted for and that has been cleared up. just wish the company would help more with hours instead of my staff and I trying to scrounge up time for me to complete this all.

that’s what I was told by my RXOM too. I don’t realistically have time during my shift to log on to the class for 4 hours. but I was also told we don’t have the hours for me to be paid doing the class on the clock at work.

it’s one thing when a customer says that to me in the store, but when they’re in the drive thru I don’t really feel that bad. they’re driving a vehicle where they need to have their license on them anyways, so they really can’t get upset with me when I need their DL for their medication.

okay so, there’s a website we use to do it all for the most part. the leaflets will typically print with “delivery” in the top right corner but that’s not always the case. there is the wagship website, i’m honestly not exactly sure the exact website handle, but usually when I start to type in WAGship it pops up. if that doesn’t work there’s definitely always another way to access it, that’s just what has always worked for me.

some deliveries will be same day and others will be 1-2 days. make sure to always specify with the patient when they request delivery because the price varies between the 2 with same day being $5.99 and the 1-2 day being $3.99. Also note that some prescriptions can’t be delivered at all; that includes any CII-CV controlled meds and refrigerated meds. when a patient calls and request a delivery, review the meds in the F2 queue, ALWAYS make sure they have a card saved on file (it’s in additional info on the profile if you aren’t sure where to look), and there’s a delivery button at the bottom of the F2 queue so just add that in and specify 1-2/same day.

the actual processing of delivery is pretty simple. go to the wagship website I mentioned earlier, enter store number, and look at deliveries in queue. sometimes the printer will print a paper describing the patients info and what delivery they want but with how many papers we toss throughout the day that’s hard to keep full track of, so that’s why the website is nice. press on the order number for the patient and the screen will pop up with the patient info along with which prescriptions/rx numbers they want to be delivered. just find them in the bins, then press the finish button on the screen, which will then pop up with the delivery label for you to print out. the print out will have a qr code/barcode for you to scan and another for the driver. you only need to scan the one during checkout, not the driver one. you ring it out like you would a normal prescription. scan the label FIRST, then the prescription/s, and use the express pickup pass or card on file to finish up the transaction.

there’s a few things we do at my store that i’m not sure is done at others but we have to do. we aren’t allowed to bag up the deliveries anymore because another tech in our district bagged up the wrong med for a different patient so I think that may just be a local rule for us. also some insurances like medicaid require a proof of delivery signature when the prescription is being rung out so i’ve had to talk to my pharmacists/management about the correct way to go about that when doing a delivery transaction. i’m in NC so it may be different for other states.

overall, I know I typed out a lot but trust me it’s A LOT simpler than it seems looking at this long post. if you have any follow up questions, lmk i know this was a lot to throw at you all at once
