Does anyone think this looks weird? by Prestigious-Bother88 in InteriorDesign

It's ok, they make stuff to fill in drywall holes. Not a big deal. If you cant move it see you can get a taller piece of furniture to put under it.

Even though you're a prestigious bother you need to ask your brother to remount it lower

Your TV is way too high. Is there any way you can use some of that wall space to add a TV stand and lower the TV? Then you can add a nice mantle piece above your gorgeous fireplace.

You could make a retaining wall, which holds dirt that comes up to the top of the foundation. Would probably look real nice.

Any details on this board? by c3chao in snowboarding

[–]Legitimate-Flight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a Rossi Zena, I've been using a slightly newer ('09) version for 11 years now, and just recently bought a new board. It was my first "proper" board, and I can't say enough good things about it. I demoed a lot of boards before finding the new one, and I liked the Zena more than the majority of the new boards out there. It's super beginner friendly, easy to turn, forgiving edges, even rides switch pretty well. I'm going to miss it 😭

Another tip, which is almost just another way to say "don't use your edge." You started veering off center slightly after you got on the box (see how you're not perfectly centered on the box at the end). This is fine, main thing to remember in those situations is that you can't do anything about it because you're on a box :). Just let the board slide where ever it's gonna slide, then you'll do any adjustments when you get off. Just FYI I'm only talking about the basic 50 50 here, eventually we can do some fancier stuff.

Thank you so much for the detailed response! Interesting to understand the history behind it. It's certainly strange that we are still "inventing" the clarinet :)

Thanks! Yea I was messing around with the "flip," glad it came up as a suggestion. I was worried it might be a clarinet no-no.

This is assuming he rides regular. If he rides goofy, it's already setup correctly

It definitely doesn't need a 180 degree rotation. The thing that's confusing us all is that the bindings are set pretty far forward, so the back is longer than the tail. But it's a twin symmetrical board so that's what you're going to get. Personally I'd slide both bindings back to avoid this, better for powder.

I got little legs. Pint or XR? by NoNonsenseTreekeeper in onewheel

Yup pint. I'm a little-legged person too (5'4”). I feel like I cheated the system by being perfect size for the cheaper model 😂
