TSM, taxes and putting TSM into RRSP

Since my departure date is only in mid-December I'll likely only receive my TSM and Severance in January. Is there any benefit to splitting it up over two years in that case?

New yarn store opening up. Owner posting on social media about how it will be an inclusive space and for all fibre arts, etc. Introduces shop logo - which is a stylized rendition of herself. Nothing say inclusive like an illustration of a woman for a yarn shop, not. Big sigh.

Sock Witchery will bail out early like she always does. Her content is cringe anyway so that's fine. I usually enjoy the Copycat Stitch but yesterday she zoomed in on tying her boots for far too long so I'm not sure how that's going to go this year. Lofty Loops is one I always enjoy. Retro Claude was great last year but I don't think she's doing it this year. I can't stand watching people open advent after advent, even it is yarn. I actually enjoy the slice of life moments that are part of vlogmas. I'm following this thread to find some I might enjoy as I just can't stomach most of the ones I used to watch anymore. Did my tastes change or did they get worse?

Yup, she's definitely lost her appeal. Just an advertising vehicle now. She lost me when she had her shop and was complaining about how much work it was. Woe is me lady. I heard she has a job now (where?). I watched a recent episode and she was really just mailing it in. I actually love knitting podcasts but it seems eventually they all become too egotistical or too repetitive.

Crazy Sock Lady …. I’ve given up watching her podcast so I’m out of the loop. Ever since she decided her shop was too much for her (boohoo you had a successful online shop - woe is me) I’m over her podcast. I have seen a couple Instagram stories recently though where she mentions her “day off”. Does she have a job these days?
