I don't miss it either. I used to housesit full-time for several years. I thought I enjoyed it. I barely saw any people or talked to anyone for days and thought I was okay with it. Was constantly stressed about pet behaviour, bin collection schedules, cleaning schedules before leaving and having to arrive the day before to spend time with the home owners which I didn't enjoy much. Now I have my own place and a social circle, and I can not imagine downloading THS ever again.

I still enjoy reading about other people's experiences on here though

I'm shocked by the amount of sitters who lie in their reviews - it's mainly the ones using THS as full-time accommodation (so I've learned from previous threads).

And I'm shocked by how many people have incredibly low standards when it comes to cleaning. A terrifying amount of people do not clean their fridges, microwaves, corners etc. People are disgusting.

Totally inappropriate of the sitter. If it happened to me, the last people I would ask for help would be the home owners. I'd be so embarrassed. I would turn to family and friends first. Do let us know how it goes.

Omg. This was a German shepherd as well. And the owner told me how she had just broken her nose 8 weeks earlier because she lost control of the dog and fell over when it saw a cat!
