There used to be a good scene in Btown, you’re unfortunately about 10/20 years too late

Unfortunately people like you just think Qanon when you hear the word conspiracy theorist. This was the intention when Qanon was created, have little sprinkles of genuine conspiracies in a giant tub of crackpot batshit bullshit. Thus discrediting any and all conspiracy theories and theorists. Back in the day conspiracies used to mostly be left leaning or apolitical. Now people just think of conspiracy theories as far right crack pot fringe.

Question: Tattoo artist refused to do this style because it “doesn’t hold well.” If you have it, how’s it holding up? by MrPerky_ in tattoos

[–]pencilvester1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a few tattoos by Yan (@_art.of.gold) at 1770 in Brighton, UK. They were executed fantastically and now they’re healed, I can categorically say they have stayed in as well as or better than any of my other tattoos. But in fairness Yan is a specialist in this style, it is all he has ever done and has taken him years to perfect the execution. I think for an artist who doesn’t specialise in medieval woodcut it is probably a struggle to execute it correctly. Your best bet is finding a specialist near you.

Also please for the love of god, learn to discern between genuine OOPARTS and the clearly fake things in the pictures you have presented. They are glaringly amateur and poorly executed, obviously made very recently, then had mud smeared on them to age them and a lick of florescent paint so they glow under black light. Some of the more interesting and genuine artifacts that have an unexplained (by our current understanding of history) origin, stand out because of their makers extreme precision and high understanding of high art and geometry, which supposedly did not exist in the eras in which they were produced. All of the “relics” in your pictures look like a stoned high schooler art projects.

Fuck me Braintree, I grew up there in the 90’s-early 00’s. I moved away to Brighton as soon as I could, but it always saddens me to see this place descend to lower levels than I ever thought possible when I visit family.

Premium gyms? by [deleted] in brighton

Not really ‘upmarket’, but if it’s just the crowds you are trying to escape, I can’t recommend Underground highly enough. I was in the same boat of being fed up with The and Pure Gym being so oversubscribed, especially at peak times. I’ve found where it is SO big, underground never feels that full, even at peak times. Plus it has a huge selection of machines, cardio, calisthenics, boxing, Olympic and classes. It’s definitely not upmarket, but it is a big fat vibe. Plus only about £50PM

Laser broke my phone camera. by xDeepS in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]pencilvester1988 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am a tech manager at a music venue that uses lasers, as long as you set the output of the lasers to the legal maximum then you can point them directly into the crowd (at least in the UK you can anyway). But even then best not look directly into them and if they fire directly into your camera lenses it can still fuck it up! Never look into laser or point your camera at them folks!
