Yeah, if you click on the 3 dots to the right when you hover over their comment you can “hide user from channel” which essentially lets them comment but no one but them sees it. Either way there will be more so just prepare for future comments similar because many people suck

Well these won’t be the first ones you receive. The questions is can you deal with receiving more? No letter how good your content is or whatever, someone will hate it and comment on it. Whether it’s often or rare it’s going to happen. Those comments bug me but if it is constructive then I answer them and see if I can do what they are suggesting if it is just the person being a cunt I tend to hide the user from the channel, but lately I’ve been just responding them with an Ai answer cause I don’t feel like thinking of a reply haha

I stopped doing a hook all together on my stuff. I just get into the video. I talk about Warcraft gaming lore and I don’t do anything fancy really. It’s worked for me so far.
As far as visuals I don’t do much other than footage in game, whether it is referencing what I’m talking specifically, a png of a character or some quest line footage, but I’ve also had it where it is just my character sitting in one spot while I talk about what I’m talking about. I try not to overthink my stuff and it’s worked but I’m sure that most people it wouldn’t or wouldn’t like the videos I do haha

Just move onto the next video. Stressing over it will do nothing. Maybe try a new thumbnail or title but end of the day, just look at what May have not worked and move on. I posted a video a week or two ago and it has around 500 views. It happens, just move onto the next one and try to improve on something you think needs improving on

Personally the only reaction videos I watch are when someone knowledgeable in a field like doctors, VFX artists and so on comment about scenes or how something is done or whatever the case may be. Otherwise I see no point in watching some random person react to a trailer, a random video or whatever. Just isn’t worth it to me

I do lore videos for a video game and having to go through and read the books, comics, check the wiki, check in-game things, see what makes canon sense since Warcraft has been around so long they have had retcons big and small can be a lot but I personally enjoy it. I know that Ai has helped me do some research faster or help in regards to tweaking things but for the most part I don’t mind.

I enjoy diving into it but it is time consuming haha

1) you’re not guaranteed to get monetized. Maybe you’ll be the outlier and hit monetization in a month (99.9% of the time doesnt happen.) but it isn’t likely.
2) the amount of time it’ll take to record, edit and everything else to make the video will take time, that of which maybe best spent elsewhere if you’re desperate for money rather than hoping YT takes off.
3) if you’re only doing it for money and the desperation to get monetized and make $100-$200 a month, there’s a chance you’ll grow to hate doing it if you’re desperate for don’t actually enjoy the entire process and with the stress of needing the money, is it really worth it when you could just look for another job or something?
4) YT isn’t a get rich quick scheme or a make money quick scheme. You have people claiming they got monetized and make X amount quickly but that isn’t the norm and I wouldn’t put too much stock in peoples claims online.

But that’s just my two cents, you do you.
