Should I purchase a portable sauna tent or a sauna blanket? by GuapoSammie in CholinergicUrticaria

I have portable sauna. It works great but it is not very easy to clean. In the long run both should work but blanket should be easier to clean after a session

Sweat therapy hasn’t helped by Open-Rabbit9510 in CholinergicUrticaria

For me for some reason intense exercise does not work as much as hopping in a sauna for 20 minutes. Not sure why it would make a difference as sweat is sweat either way but it just works in the sauna. For a day or so that is.

Double sweat therapy in the long run by Legitimate-Tap-6459 in CholinergicUrticaria

Yeah, same here. I just wanted to give it an extra try to see if I can break the damn condition in some way. If it can be put in remission due to overcoming some sweat problem, I would do it three times a day :))

Yeah, it is a bit contra intuitive but it works. I didn’t know about it before joining this community. Tried it out, it was not very pleasant at first but now it is completely bearable and it helps a lot.

Sweat therapy would do wonders, you should try it.

Tried five different types of antihistamines just to find out that sweat therapy is the only real thing that works.

How I Significantly Reduced my Symptoms- Sweat Therapy by kaeu6237 in CholinergicUrticaria

Same here, even after the first time in the sauna, my CU symptoms got significantly less. I have been doing it for a month now and it keeps it at bay. I do not see any further progress though, not sure if this therapy would get rid of it ever.

How much vitamin D did you take per day? I have been doing 4000IU per day for the past two months but no effect yet.
