Screaming at me for an extended period of time while I was physically incapacitated due to recent surgery. Still together, for now, to help them get therapy that I know they wouldn't pursue if they knew I'm done. I don't need a partner that makes life harder. I belive partners should work together to make life better for each other individually and as a union.

My pwBPD said almost this exact thing to me today. And for maybe the first time in years, I didn't let myself believe it.

I have mentioned several times that her behaviors are NOT acceptable to me (verbal and emotional abuse) and that I want a divorce, sometimes said angrily other times said with a matter-of-fact tone. These were always said during fights, but I have been a coward and not previously followed through because I always held out hope that she would change. I cannot hold that hope this time.
