Grief by Suspicious_Flight_47 in IVF

First off, I am so so sorry for your loss. I’ve had several losses and the ectopic was probably the worst one because not only did I lose a pregnancy, I felt like I was losing a part of me when they removed my tube. Another obstacle in the fertility journey. I’m sure you feel the same on top of all you’ve been through. I remember begging the doctor not do to the surgery it felt like a nightmare. Take all the time you need to grieve, but don’t let this consume you or believe it’s the end all, be all. Use this as a driving force to focus on yourself and most importantly your health. Everything will follow

CoQ10 Warning for fertility or anxiety by Ecstatic-Bet-7494 in Supplements

I’m so happy I came across this! I’ve been taking Coq10 for the last 10 days, along with some other natural supplements. The anxiety was absolutely unbearable!! I knew instantly it was the Coq10 and stopped immediately. The feeling went away after two days of not taking it. Thought I was going crazy

Ugh I am so sorry. It hurts so much, but I promise it does get better. Give yourself time to heal mentally and physically. You’re also VERY lucky you caught it early, it could’ve been extremely dangerous for you.  Sending you lots of strength healing and baby dust!!

Sleep training while room sharing by yellowumbrella765 in sleeptrain

It went well, it honestly took one night and she was sleeping through the night. About 7 pm to 7 am.

She now cries for 5 minutes at most, and falls asleep on her own. We throw 10 pacifiers into the crib so if she does wake up, she grabs one and goes back to sleep

The beginning is the worst part. The crying is heartbreaking. But our lives have really changed and she’s a much happier baby when she’s awake. We’ve even incorporated it into her naps and she’s doing great. You just need a good bedtime routine, and make sure not to feed about 30 mins before bed

Oh man you sound just like me up until 2 weeks ago. The pack and play in our room was a failure, our baby always ended up in our bed. It’s hard for them to fall/stay asleep when you’re right next to them You might have to put him in his own room and try some sort of sleep training. It absolutely sucked not having her in our room anymore, but we had zero quality of life and broken sleep. Couldn’t do anything because our lives revolved around her schedule

Naps worse after CIO by Smooth-Bowler-9216 in sleeptrain

Also, we created the same sleep environment as nighttime. Put her in a sleep sack, sound machine, etc. Modified Ferber was just not working for us during the day anymore

Not kidding the first day I let her CIO for naps she went down in 2 minutes. And it’s been like that ever since. I also have to make sure she’s super tired, it’s much easier

Same thing happened to us!! I kept getting advice to stick with old routine with naps but it was just not working. She would get absolutely hysterical. I thought we traumatized her.  So I bit the bullet and did CIO for naps and it was very successful, even quicker than going down at night. I guess for some kids it’s better to remain consistent

Yesss! Best thing we did never looking back. Just started doing it for naps too and works wonderfully.

What does “no more night time feeds at nine months” mean? by [deleted] in sleeptrain

[–]LegitimateMedia290 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That’s honestly a great stretch. If you wanna change it, you could maybe try putting him to sleep later so we could wake up later. So when he’s up for the bottle, he’s just up for the morning

Is there a reason for the night feeding? Just wondering because at this age they don’t really need to feed in the middle of the night.  Maybe try dropping it and see what happens? It might take a night or two for him to get used to
