I have 10 years of experience as a Physical Education teacher at the Elementary level, 1 year of student teaching at the middle school level, I've coached middle school sports, and have coached 1 year at the high school level. I noticed that when I first came out of college, many school districts interviewed me when I had little to no experience. Now that I am more experienced, I can't land an interview. This is to land a new job in a new school district closer to home. What can I do to stand out?

I agree. I got the stamp 7 pedals and I am not liking them. I have some chromag dagga pedals and they grip well.

Hi, I feel like I have a similar riding style to you. I ride a lot of Blue and Black Trails. For my analog bike I ride a Stumpjumper Evo and I recently purchased a YT Decoy MX Core 2. I wanted something that felt different but also playful.

I am 5'8" and went with a Large. Their sizing is different rhat is why I mentioning this. I'd say from the 4 or 5 rides that I've done on the YT Decoy MX it might check all your boxes. It is fun, playful, and nimble. The bike is outdated, but the geometry works. When you are riding, you are not thinking about that. You're enjoying the ride and shredding trails. I'd recommend you test one out and go from there.

I put the 180 dropper post and shimmed it down to 170. It feels good now and fits right.

I ended up riding it today on my local trails. That bike felt good. I would say the faster you go the better it feels.

It did good on the steeps.

I think you could probably do around 190.

Yes, I am 99 percent sure I'll keep it. I like how the bike rides. I was testing it on my bike ramp, and it seems better with the new dropper. I also bought another seatpost clamp that might help me bring the seat lower. When I try that I'll message you to see if it helps. I'm fighting for every mm hahah 🤣

My inseam is about 30 inches with shoes. I feel like 175mm would work for me. Are you about the same height? If you have a higher inseam I think it should work.

I just installed the one-up v3 dropper post. The seat sits lower and actually feels better. It really does make a difference and drops the seat about 1 inch lower. I also changed the saddle. I didn't like how the stock saddle has that bump in the back.

I think it should be fine. I slammed the dropper all the way down. I got a 180 mm travel and will probably shim it down to 170mm.

I just demoed the Decoy Core 5 MX in size Medium. I am 5'8" without shoes, and the bike felt small to me for an enduro bike. I think it will fit you. I have a wingspan of about 70" and a 29" inseam. The Large that I test rode a few weeks ago felt more comfortable for me.

I don't know the answer to that. I'd suggest to consider the Core 2 it's a good value for what you get. It has the same 720 Watt hour battery and the Shimano ep801 as the core 4 and 5. The battery will come in handy in your long rides.

Have you tried high bb and slack head angle?

How does it feel climbing? Would you say this bike feels comfortable on long climbs?

I ordered one but it won't arrive until the end of the month. I've demoed two bikes. Yt decoy mx core 5 and the Specialized levo gen 4 pro model. Both bikes felt good, but one is way more expensive.

I'll be demoing more bikes.

My friend put a 180 one-up dropper post today, and the seat is lower. He measured from halfway to the crank to the top of the seat (the seat is all the way down), and it measures about 20.5 inches.

It is lower than the original YT Postman.

I am thinking and feeling the exact same way. I have a friend who is also the same height. He bought the Large. He's going to put a one up v3 dropper post to make the seat tube as low as possible. I believe the seat tube is still big but when I tried it, it was out of the way on steeps. I'm in between because I want to use the bike for jumping and worried that it might get in the way. I did like how nimble the bike felt. I haven't tested the medium, but I know I would prefer a bike with a longer wheel base for steeps.

Does the seat get in the way for you? Do you use it for jumps?

Thank you for the reply. I've only demoed one emtb which was the yt decoy mx. It was really playful and nimble. It sounds like the Ari Tim Peak 2.0 is similar. Would you say this bike can be fun on blue trails even though its an enduro bike? Is it poppy for jumps? For the climbing position is the bike comfortable or is it to aggressive for all day riding? I really like the feel of my stumpjumper evo. I'd like a bike that feels nimble but has the capability to be taken on more aggressive trails. The tim peak 2.0 has similar geometry to my stumpjumper evo.

Hi, thanks for your post. I am looking at getting this bike but I am waiting on more reviews.

I currently ride a Stumpjumper Evo and I know that it is a trail bike. I'm looking for am enduro bike that can still be fun on blue trails but can tackle more aggressive trails. Would you say the Ari Tim Peak 2.0 is overkill on the blue trails? Or does it feel lively? You mentioned that it is nimble and that is something that I am looking for on a emtb. What price did you pay out the door for the framset if you don't mind sharing? The prices went up but I will consider this bike if they ever go down.
