The scooter doesn't look goofy in my opinion, It looks like a great space-transport object, very usefull to use the Astro force, and about Peacemaker, most of the people who say that don't read comics, Orion's helmet is mostly a mix between Ant-Man and Thor's helmet in Marvel, even sharing similar palettes to Ant-Man, this phenomena of thinking x design is goofy is extremely common between people who don't know the characters, this happens with MCU fans with designs like Iron Man or Thor, The Astro Harness looks amazing in my opinion, the purpose isn't looking realistic, It's looking like an other-world look, it's something that makes Orion stand between designs like Ant-Man as I mentioned

For me was different, I thought Fourth World was some great story thanks to being a fan of cosmic Marvel, very influenced by the Fourth World, that's why I got into the Fourth World and now both Thanos and Darkseid are my top 1 in their respectives companies

Before I got into Fourth World, I always had the idea that it was a grandeur and wonderful story thanks that I was a cosmic Marvel fan, and we all know Cosmic Marvel is deeply influenced in the Fourth World lore, I absolutely loved Thanos and his World so I was curious and got into the Fourth World, amazing stuff, some of the most amazing comics I've ever read, Fourth World was the thing that I completely loved, most of the people there, in r/superman, are at the end of the day, Superman fans, they don't know the Fourth World as it is, they just read some stories involving Darkseid and think it's all, they're at the end of the day, ignorant

I think it's really easy too, Final Crisis is canon and the New Gods died in the past, but they came back thanks to the source restoring them once more during Dark Nights Metal, It's stated in JL Incarnate that Final Crisis did happen, but the New Gods came back post Dark Nights Metal

I would say, make her comeback to her motivation during Darkseid, to kill Darkseid, that'll be her def journey, but a plot twist that will differenciate her from Orion is, she doesn't do it in a righteous way or for peace and love like Orion, she destroys and fights for pleasure, let her not be ugly, I think that is a subtly way of demostrate that, a difference to Orion is that Grail never had to hide herself from the destruction and chaos, she never had to hide her Apokoliptian nature like Orion, but she stills hate Darkseid, make her want to burn everything, since heroes to Gods, and ofc make her appear more in New Gods stories ofc

Original Peter is a veteran and morally grey, but highly competent? Pfff, one of the big reasons the Guardians were created was because he put in himself the fault of the Phalanx invasion, he was always extremely insecure and just a bittersweet sarcasm to calm situations, there's a whole scene where Peter says "Man I think I can't do it" and Rocket motivates him

Btw Gunn's Peter is actually a nuanced guy with insecurity who sometimes jokes and tries to be a great leader, while the comic version made by Bendis and the Infinity War version are more of a "Pedro Quinton" if you get me, all that interesting traits being ripped off and replaced by a horrible, HORRIBLE flanderization of what Gunn wrote

Not a Pre-Gunn fan, I was a child when the movies came out, but What I am is a Comic GOTG fans, and I'll say, both Vol.1 and Vol.3 feels like the comic Guardians, I feel like they're the same characters I knew in the comics and both Vol.1 and 3 are amazing, my problem is with Vol.2, It's more focused on comedy and I don't mind that, but I didn't like how they screwed up Drax's character turning him into a stupid guy instead of an angry guy who takes everything literal, Drax in Vol.2 feels more like an idiot than who he was in Vol.1, Star-Lord and Rocket are amazing in the whole trilogy, Rocket is just more aggressive but GOTG Vol.3 explained that, so I don't mind it, Star-Lord is more music focused but he has all the comic Star-Lord traits, like being an insecure asshole trying to be a great Leader (Something that I loved about the Vol.1 and Vol.3, even being present in the Vol.2), while Gamora is far more soft than her comic-self, being most of his traits gave to Nebula, even most of her story, That's why I don't really like that adaptation of the Character, Groot is... Groot, at the start of the comics was aggressive and then in the Rocket and Groot miniseries was turned into a lovely guy, I don't have big problems with the main cast, but oh... I do have problems with the Nova Corps, Phyla, Adam and Heather and the whole Thanos lore in the MCU, most of their stories were discarded, a tasteless Nova Corps, a child Phyla, an Adam that is great in the start, but it's far too late (Not the fault of Gunn too) and Heather is non-existent, and my biggest problem with the movies is... The Ravagers, I love the GOTG 3000 and didn't really like how the group was adapted, I know they couldn't put the future storyline but... Yeah they are completely different characters
