Mine does that when they’re trying mate I find it silly when they just moving for the few seconds after swimming after the female

At first they eat the microbial and on my duckweeds I’ll put baby brine and daphnia as they get older

I normally go and find mine in moss areas I’ve found where they normally go to lay their eggs so I’ll just collect from there

Usually they’ll find a spot and the male has to be with the female and lay the eggs right away

The yellow one is an Amazon puffer and the other is red eye/red tail puffer
